Smitty V3 Poly Wool Charcoal Grey Base Umpire Pants
Crew How-To: Pressing and Ironing Your Umpire & Referee Pants
Ty gives you detailed, step-by-step, instructions to keep your umpire or referee pants looking sharp and crisp.
Although they are base umpire pants I still think I'd comfortably be able to get my shin guards under the pants comfortably. The material of the pants are nice and the waist material on the inside will help with your shirt being tucked in. I'm not all to sold on them as base pants though.
Pants are just okay. Problem with the waist clips, which are staples, coming out. Not well made. The button also needed to be resewn.
By far the best umpire pants I've ever worn. The poly spandex charcoal grey offer everything we could expect: Great looks, cool but very weather protective, and the expander waistband allows you to in restrictively move.
Questions About This Product
|Q:||Are the poly wool plate, and base pants dimensions same as the poly spandex? I like the fit of the poly spandex but not too fond of the material so I am thinking of giving the poly wool a try if you can confirm they fit exactly the same as poly spandex. Thanks!|
