I returned the pants only because they were not the kind of condition I was looking for. The return process was a joy, if there can be.

Great umpire pants, but the waist is a little smaller than the size they really are.

Great comfort on the bases or behind the plate. Great in the heat of the day.

Pants are just as advertised. Need to be altered, but that is expected. A little more forgiving in the waist would be nice.

The 34 waist is perfect for me. I am 5'8" and 185 lbs with an athletic build. I have to wear them a little higher on my waist when spreading my legs behind the plate, as the seam from top of waist to bottom of the crotch is a bit long. If I don't pull them up I feel them bind and I'm afraid I will split them. Plenty of room in the legs for my shin guards but not so much as to look baggy. They have nice material, no need to iron if you remove them promptly from the dryer. Well built and look good behind plate and on bases.

Good quality umpire pants - as combos these fit the bill and were comfortable for both plate and base. For me these ran a little tight - you may want to size up one size (I prefer the expandable waistband which these do -not- have).

The umpire pants are great, fit well over my gear and are comfortable. The only negative is I ordered a 34, I wear a 33 normally, the 34 is tight. There looks to be a little room in the waist that I can have a tailor let it out a bit, but I might recommend sizing up.

Great combo pants and comfortable at the plate and in the field.
