I purchased this pair of umpire pants for my son. The fit is great and they are very comfortable for him. Upon recommendation from a fellow umpire last year, I had originally purchased a pair of these pants for myself earlier this year. They fit well and are very comfortable. The combo pants allow for ample space for shin guards when doing the plate and aren't too baggy when doing the bases. Although a bit more expensive than other options, they are totally worth it! I wouldn't buy another style of umpire pants again!

Great pants material, but the combo pants legs are not like other combo pants. I can’t pull pants over shin guards. They may work with some shin guards, but they don’t with the Wilson West Vest gold. I ended up having to purchase plate pants as well.

Great quality material. It’s reinforced in all the right places and stretchy for those of us with more prominent eating muscle around our middle.

My only complaint is that the combo pants are a little tight with my shin guards on.

This is my second pair of these. The just don't trap the heat of other umpire pants I have tried. They are sharp looking as well. They don't fade as much as others I have had. Will buy again.

I’ve worn other brands of umpire pants over the years and found them to be too thick. These are thin; almost comparable to like pajama pants. With that said, they do run pretty big. I wear 34 in jeans etc., and I’m swimming in the 34’s of these. Otherwise awesome pants!

These are the best umpire combo pants I have ever worn! The great fit and flexibility is awesome. I had been a fan of another brand of pants until these came along. I promise you will never feel better in any other pants! Then..this year, they added the flex waistband. That just made them even better since I put some weight on! Great job!

I was skeptical at first, but after 1 season with these umpire pants, I had to get a second pair. They are cool during the hot days in So Cal and warm on the cool days during fall ball. Easy maintenance, dry clean once during the season to get the nice creese and than just normal wash and dry, take out of the dryer, shake, hang and ready to go. No ironing needed. Glad I have 2 pair now.

I purchased the combo umpire pants as I usually umpire multiple games a day and rarely have time to change. The fabric is very comfortable and light. I love the expandable waistband, so if I have to tuck in a jacket, there is room. The pants move well and have plenty of room. Very satisfied with my Smitty pants.

Fit great, feel great. They allowed me great movement and are wonderful on hot days. I like the stretch feature of the expanding waistband and the no-wrinkle with pleated front. My favorite umpire pants I've ever had. 10 out of 10.

After a couple washings the pockets are pilling, otherwise they are excellent. Comfortable, cooler, and does help sweat evaporate better.

I decided on the combo umpire pants vs the plate umpire pants and they're ideal for me as I'm a little light in the musculature department. They hang loose over my Wilson MLB Platinum shin guards when I'm standing upright and there's no binding at all when I get down into the set position. Plus, they look great and are definitely cooler than the traditional umpire pants.

Great pants. I called 4 games per day in a World Wood Bat 14u. The temperature of the turf was over 140 degrees. These pants were comfortable, lightweight, and dried out quickly.

Love these umpire pants but I will get regular pants next time without waist extension. Pants seem larger because of extension. Lightweight, comfortable and I will by them again.

These are my new summer umpire pants! I will not buy ANY other type of pant to wear during the heat of summer. These pants helped keep me cooler by absorbing moisture and evaporating it quickly to help keep the wearer cooler.

These are the best pants for umpires out there. They are very light, and comfortable. They dry faster than my shirts do from the rain. Very great pants for umpiring in Florida, no matter what level.

Very nice, the legs are too narrow for my leg guards. They fit more like base pants. But very comfortable and light.

Love these umpire pants. Very comfy and light but the combo pants seem to me a little bit narrower in the legs then the poly wool combo which I like as they look better if you are in a tournament and going from plate to bases or the other way around you still look professional. I will say if you wear shin guards that are bulky like the Wilson Platinum's (which I have) you might want to get Plate pants. As they fit tighter than normal around the shin guard when get into my plate squat in my experience.
