NAVY Color Improved

Force 3 ball bags in navy now have a lighter shade to better match navy umpire shirts.

Description

Meet the Dry-Lo Umpire Ball Bag! By popular demand, inspired by professional umpire Mark Lollo’s original design, these handcrafted ball bags are high quality, oversized, heavy duty and water-resistant to keep sweat off of the baseballs.

When Lollo was working in The Gulf Coast League in 2002 it was a struggle to keep the baseballs dry. He enlisted his Grandmother Bernie Jorgenson to design a new and improved ball bag that would help to withstand the heat and the sweat of a baseball game. Grandma went into action and designed an amazing ball bag that could withstand the torment of a hard worked game.

Overall a good choice. The opening for the main pocket is a little tight for softballs, but not really a problem. Indicator pocket is a bit small for a 4-dial, but fits fine in the second bigger pocket.

I ordered these because my state association prefers navy ball bags for softball. They're identical to the black bags I bought two years ago, and I knew I'd want the same kind. It's a little tough to get softballs out of the bag since the balls are a little bigger, but the bag will easily hold three softballs or six baseballs. I also like having the pockets inside to store my brush and indicator. One could also keep a pen and lineup cards if so desired, although I keep them in my chest pocket. They're very roomy and worth the expense for the umpire wanting the best. I highly recommend them!

Quality is good but first day out had a softball game and ball wouldn't barely go in and was really tough to get out. Will try for baseball but would proceed with caution for softball.
