Quality seems OK but these are much shorter than I thought they would be.

I wear size 11D shoes. I am a normal, average-sized person, I'd say. I go about 5-11, 225 lbs. and have muscular calves, but not huge. The smaller size of these socks want to keep rolling down when pulled up over the calf. This leads to them tearing after a few wears. 3.5/5. The larger size comes up over my calf nicely and stays place. 5/5. As for compression, the smaller ones are tighter on my calf, giving more compression as a result (of course). While the larger size does give some compression, they are nowhere near the compression of the MLB socks available from Ump-Attire. 4/5. Now, these socks are comfortable to wear. They fit my feet well and are soft feeling on my feet too. 5/5. Overall, I can fully recommend the larger size while the smaller ones need some fixes before they're truly for up to size 11. My recommendation is to size up on these socks. I'd rather have to fold them down a bit at the top versus having to keep pulling them up like I do with the smaller ones.

Best pair of socks on the market especially for umpires. Socks provide leg coverage up to the knee during the warmer months when working behind the plate, so you don’t have to wear full leg tights. I bought these socks because they were on sale, and I had been wanting to get some better umpire socks. These are really nice. They aren't too thick but have nice cushioning on the foot. They work really well with my shin pads. Some people said they were too tight on the shins, but they're perfect for me. I am fairly thin though.

These socks are very comfortable, and stay up the whole game. Their design also allows your feet to breathe and stay dry through the contest. They are a basic design and do not require a certain sock to go on a certain foot. I got the socks on sale and they were worth the dollar I spent. Would recommend them to anyone umpire looking for new socks!

Honestly, I did not like these. They felt great in my hand, looks to be very well made, they just were not for me. They were too short to completely cover my calf muscles and give the kind of compression that I want.

These are the most supportive socks I've ever worn. Nice tight fit above the calf, so I don't have to worry about them falling down during a game. No chafing from Shin Guard Straps. Basically the only socks I'll wear on a ball field.

I've used these socks for a few games, and they are very comfortable. The only reason I didn't give them a 5-star rating is that they are a little shorter than I expected, barely covering my calf. Otherwise, they are great socks.

If you have large calves, these are not for you! I put them on out of the package, pretty sure I put a tourniquet on my leg! They look nice though!

Love these socks. Have 3 pair now to rotate thru. Feels good on my feet and calves. Gives a nice slight compression too. I won't wear shin guards without these.

Very comfortable in the foot, but if you have large calves, you won't be able to pull the socks up all the way.

A little snug, but I would hate to have a sock that rolls down your leg while you're working. Ordering another pair.

I like the fit of these. My first time wearing them they did great. However, after one wash (Coldwater only) they won’t stay up above my calfs and slide down when wearing. If wearing under shin guards would recommend a full knee-length sock as these are not as long as I would have desired after washing.

Comfortable but not long lasting.

I wish I had gotten these socks long before now. The over-the-calf fit is what I like best and don't feel like I'm getting the circulation to my feet cut off, plus it helps with the fit of my shin guards. The wicking is great and whereas my feet are usually soaked after working the bucket, I have very little accumulated sweat on the socks now. Great product!

These socks are the best! They wick away the sweat and keep my feet dry all day long. Soft cushion for the bottom of my feet for extreme comfort!

Some of the best socks I've found for umpires. They stay up and hold their elasticity far longer than any other socks I've used in the past.

Until now, this has been the ONLY sock I would wear! I read where some people thought they wore out easily. That had not been my experience for the past few years. I ordered 4 pair last month. They are horrible! They start to get threadbare in the heels the second time I wore them. I will not reorder these again! Garbage for a Cadillac price doesn't work for me.

Had been wearing lightweight compression socks, wanted to try some fancier ones. I bought these and the New Balances. These are so much more comfortable. Once again, Force3 comes ahead of the other ones I've tried.

The Force3 Umpire Socks are the most comfortable pair I have worn up to this point in my experience. They are very light, easy to put on after the first game of a doubleheader where you have sweated, and give good support on the bottoms of your feet. This product comes highly recommended.

With out a doubt the most comfortable officiating sock on the market. Not a big fan of almost knee high socks but they stay pulled up all day with no bunching.

They are comfy, breathable, and friction free. They fit the bill under my shin guards. I like them better than the Nike socks I used to wear.

A little disappointed with these socks. I expected more for the price. I am 6'2 and they are a little short. They feel like regular socks to me. No real difference after spending all day on the field. The 3N2 are much better and cheaper.

Follow up to my original review - I used these Force3 socks from April to November. These things are pretty amazing. They never ever slid down even doing double headers in the hot summer sun. Excellent job of keeping your legs cool. Highly Recommend! ======================== I normally wear soccer socks at the plate so this is mostly a comparison between the two. Pros: 1) Extremely good job wicking away moisture. 2) Stay up well (had for 5 games so time will tell) 3) Very lightweight and comfortable. Cons: 1) Just a little too short for me. I'm 18" from my heel to the bottom of my knee. These (XL) are about two inches below my knee which means my upper strap is on my skin. Soccer socks go above my knee which protects me from the straps. 2) These aren't as thick as soccer socks so you don't get as much cushioning for your foot. However, since these are thinner they are cooler to wear, it's a trade-off you have to decide.

Can't imagine a better sock! First day I wore them I did 6 games over 12 hours and 7 games over 15 hours the next day. Exhausting. I was impressed my feet held up so well and I give a lot of that credit to these socks. I really like how they're thicker in the foot and lighter weight on the calf. They go all the way to the knee so my shin guard straps don't chafe.

Force3 attire and equipment is slowly taking over in the officiating world...the socks are the best in the business and designed for those who work consecutive games in a row or 4 or 5 in one day...wicking process is spot on and the comfort is what I enjoy.

I wear these over my long compression pants when doing the plate, so length is not an issue, however they do help my shin guards stay in position and provide more comfort. And my wife cannot mix them up with other socks due to their distinctive look.

By far the best socks I have ever worn for officiating! They work for any sport in any climate. Very light, form to your feet and calves, stay put/don't slide down your leg, and wick away moisture better than any other. These are a MUST HAVE.
