It's professional looking and a great way to keep lineup cards. Just wish there was a clip for a pen and a clip to hold it in the pocket. It's too expensive for what you get, too.

Just what I needed! It isn't as sturdy as having two heavy duty clips for the lineups, but the two magnets work really well for what they are - they kept the papers in order for me to be able to write in substitutions and courtesy runners, etc. Like I said - exactly what I needed and a good price!

This line up card holder was purchased because a fellow official had one given to him. I said that looks like what I need. He showed me and it had the Ump Attire label on it. I have used it from then on and it's the best one yet.

I bought two of these to use when behind the plate during College Softball. 3rd Base Team in left ball bag and 1st Base Team in right ball bag. Works like a charm. Great quality as well.

I love these. Game days can be damp here and this lineup holder keeps the lineups dry. It's a nice surface to write on. Closed, it holds a thin pen very well. I only bought a new one because I gave mine away last year when I was in Europe. It's too expensive to buy this stuff from the USA.

Best line-up card I have ever had.

I struggled for a few years with a card holder that had no way to stay closed, retain the cards and conveniently hold a pen. This card does it all and looks great too. It will not unexpectedly flop open and the two magnetic retaining clips securely hold each lineup card separately while holding my pen in the fold crease. The slim profile and covering material make it easy to slip in and out of my shirt pocket. I got the 6” version and highly recommended it.

It's the only lineup card holder I use!

I started out with the 5-inch one, but I decided to try the 6-inch wallet, and I haven't used the 5-inch one since. The game cards we use for football are a tiny bit longer than five inches so they stick out of the bottom just a little, just enough to annoy me, and the six-inch wallet is much better.

This works really well and the magnets keep the cards in place for quick review.

Works as designed! I am able to see both sides due to off-set magnets! Sturdy enough to write on and professional-looking when you pull it out! Also fits nicely in the back or front pocket! I like how it holds my pencil inside the crease, and it doesn’t fall out! Highly recommend having one of these!

I’ve only had the opportunity to use this with travel ball tournaments which it’s perfect when it comes to keeping the card most travel ball organizations use! It gives you something firm to write on, plus it makes it easier to close the card and store it in your pocket when you’re not using it! I Would highly recommend this product and look forward to the next baseball season to use it in actual high school and middle school games!

I like this style. It holds things well and is more secure for lineups and notes.

The strong magnets make for better control of your lineup cards and the overall placement of the cards, especially on a windy day. Also, the length of this unit helps accommodate longer lineup cards, so the umpire does not have to fold the lineup card over and over to get it to fit. Typically, one-fold works well for me. I highly recommend this product.

Very functional and durable. Love how strong the magnets are. Soft spot inside to fit almost any pen. I use one of those 4 color pens and, it’s just a hair to big to fit. Still 5 stars.

I wanted a lineup card holder that does not have plastic pockets and this fits the bill. The magnets hold the lineups in place and keep the holder closed. There is enough room as well for a pen inside the holder.

This is the perfect size to keep the common lineup and oversized cards from today's game. The magnets are very strong. I have called in windy conditions, and not one time has a lineup card come close to flying loose when pinned down between the magnets. It does not absorb sweat as I keep mine in my back pants pocket. It still looks as new as the day I bought it after a full season and lots of use. This item is highly recommended.

That is what I was missing. The magnetic ends allow the line-up cards to stay in place. It gives you room to see both line-up sheets simultaneously.

As coaches line up cards got bigger, I was finding it harder to fold it into my 5" line up card holder so I ordered this 6" one. It definitely fits better and the magnets on opposite sides keeps the seam from eventually tearing plus it is flatter. Kinda pricey but I really like it.

Lineup card holder seems to be very good quality. Magnets are strong and keep your paperwork secure and keeps the book held closed. Would like to see it just a bit wider because most lineup cards are wider and you have to fold the edge, but I understand they are keeping size down to fit in your inside ball bag pocket or shirt pocket. But the size is not a deal breaker, I am not disappointed in buying it.

Sturdy book with a good design.

I just bought a new one to replace for the first one I bought which lasted me many years, but was starting to look shabby after several hundred games. This one has offset magnets which is an improvement over the original model.

The Pro Grade Magnetic Book has been one of the best purchases that I made for the season. I used it to hold the lineup cards and game card(s). Without it, the cards would have gotten wet, and/or destroyed. The Pro Grade Book made it easy to write on, and the magnetic clips makes it easy to lock in your lineups and game card. I would recommend this product to any umpire, not just for softball/baseball, but you can use it for many other sports as well.

Great product! Holds college softball line-ups with small fold at bottom of sheet. Top magnet holds bottom line-up, bottom magnet holds both line-ups so you don't have to unfold to record changes from the coach. Just fold top line-up over to see bottom line-up! Made the switch from the 5" to the 6" umpire line-up card holder this year. It sticks up out of the pocket, but I was sick of triple folding line ups to fit in my old one. This product is top notch.

Not a bad product. The only design I wish it had was a pocket of some sorts either on the outside or inside of one of the flaps. I have a smaller binder from something other than umpire design that I have and I use the pocket in it to hold a few band-aids & my mound visitation card.

Nice book but not worth the $20 price tag. The materials are just decent and the book itself feels a lot "cheaper" than what it looks like in the photos. Very disappointed with the quality of this item for $20. Should be $10.

Really had to get used to placing the pen in the binder, not used to that, but being able to have both lineups visible without flipping from one to another is fantastic. Definitely the best card holder I've ever used.

This lineup card-holder works great for both football and softball.

Perfect for baseball and football. My nephew has the smaller version and it fits fine. I use mine for football and put home team on the left and visitors on the right. Referees no longer have to flip a card. The pencil or pen fitting in the middle is also a big plus.

I messed around with several other items from other vendors before settling on this. Should have just purchased it two years ago. It fits perfectly in the ball bag interior storage pocket and is an ideal writing surface. The magnets work just as advertised. I'm also able to keep a full sized pen inside the holder.

The book style is nice and the magnetic line-up make it easy to use. The big failure is it's durability. I didn't even get through an entire season and all the black covering came off the edges. It still works fine, though umpires takes pride their appearance and equipment, and shotty line-up holder just looks bad when you making a first impression at the plate meeting.

I was given this Line Up Card Wallet a couple years ago by a very dear friend of mine that umpired. I just thought this was the STANDARD/NORM for all Line Up Card Wallets... well to my surprise it was not at all! My truck was broken into and my CHERISHED UMPIRE EQUIPMENT was taken and as I slowly replaced each item I found out the hard way that this wallet was definitely above all others! Not only did I lose a very cherished item but a very top quality item that I have replaced now with two back ups! Great product and it makes your subs and visit tracking very easy to keep up with! LOVE FROM TEXAS!

A little longer than expected. The picture with it in pocket made me believe it would work well in football officiating shirt; however, it is too tall. Functionality is great though.

Magnets hold football card open so I don't need to worry about front and back...overhangs on the pocket further than I expected but will be great for larger line up cards in baseball.

Purchased the 6" lineup holder early last summer. What a jewel. Best upgrade was to the magnet flaps. By offsetting them it stores in your pocket beautifully. I would highly recommend it to every umpire. If you're gonna buy, get the best. And this is the best.

Great lineup card holder. I prefer the 5" that fits all the way in to most pockets on shirts but if you don't mind it sticking out a bit or you store it in your ball bags this is a great option.

Works great fits in my back pocket, and I can't even tell it's there. It is tall enough that you do not have to dig for it and slides back in very easily. Great product.

Lost one, must have fallen out of my shirt pocket while changing, used my old one, but I had to get another one. It sure helps keep line-ups separated, visitor on the left, home on the right and makes line up changes much faster.

It works very well. I even did a couple games in the rain with it and it's kept both lineups completely dry.

This lineup card holder has worked great for me so far. The magnets firmly hold lineups in place. The holder is black (neutral), which I like, because I can use it whenever. This is the second time I've purchased this card holder. The first one was misplaced or stolen. I love the material and the magnets. Its sturdy but light, very easy to hold small card and the magnets are strong enough to hold the bigger cards after I fold them.

This is the answer, for lineup card holders. Every other product I've used has failed, either the plastic pockets deteriorate, or the surface isn't worth using to write on, etc. This thing could take a grenade attack and keep working perfectly. Well done!

So far this is an amazing lineup holder. The offset magnets are strong and hold the lineup cards well. It holds my pen in the middle without feeling bulky and fits perfectly in my pocket.

I ordered 2 of these. One for baseball/softball and one for football. They are built well and feel good in the front pocket of my shirt. I give 4.5 stars because the width made it nearly impossible to have my pencil in my pocket along with this. Other than that, it's a great product. I look forward to many years of use.

I've always been a simple spiral pocket notebook guy, and put my lineup cards in there. I'm really happy with this product. Good writing surface, magnets decently strong. Might be nice to have a little diagonal pocket on the bottom edge, but not a deal breaker. I treated myself for this one. Four stars only because $20.00 is not really value in my opinion, but I'm okay with it.

I would like this better if it had the pockets. I use the pockets to hold state association required cards, and this holder does not provide that capability. Add the inside and outside pockets of the other holders and this will be perfect.

Nice holder. Probably not intended for the shirt pocket. Perfect for the ballbag. The magnets allow you to get rid of the paper clips. I would suggest a half inch wider and an inch taller but, still a good product.

Just received this, and now wondering why I waited so long to buy. The knock about it sticking out of the shirt pocket.... it's at best 1", so what? That little bit makes it easier to remove from the pocket. This is a fantastic invention and will make recording changes go much smoother.

I used this at a tournament this past weekend. I had zero issues using the magnetic clips to hold the lineups. Keeps everything looking professional. Fits in my bag with easy retrieval.

Thanks for all you do. My way of giving back. I'm a stickler for details. I've always been looking to improve my speed and organization during game line up changes. To the point where I have forms I use for courtesy runners and conferences. This line up holder is PERFECT. I fold the line ups so it fits. Don't worry about the subs or heading. Make sure you have names, numbers, and positions showing for starting line ups. I use a paper clip to only hold the folds. (not to the organizer) With my system set as it is now, I smile to myself when I make changes and know how efficient and confident I feel. You think the head coaches who rate you do not notice this? Especially when you tell them a particular starter or sub is burnt now.

Great little score card holder. It holds the card in place very nicely with the magnetic flip style holders. Does not fit well in my shirt pocket. (Smitty shirt) It does fit well in my jacket pocket. (Majestic Therma Base jacket) I did also notice some chaffing along the bottom edge of the material from taking it in and out of my pocket more so when I was sweating. All in all it is one of the best card holders I've ever used.

Bought two for my son and me. The magnetic keepers work great. Plate meetings look professional and I never have to search for line up cards.

The magnets are a great touch. They keep the lineup cards in place and easy to write on. Much easier to handle the cards then if folded in a pocket. With that said, it's too long to go in a shirt/pant pocket. I have to keep it inside a ball bag pocket. Would agree with another reviewer about another little pocket inside. Also would add a loop to keep a pen/pencil attached. Right now, I keep my pen in the crease and it stays put for the most part. Addition of a paper pad inside would be nice as well.

Overall construction of the holder is FANTASTIC. It's sturdy and the magnets are perfect on those windy days. The only downside is that it doesn't quite fit in my ball bag like the older model I had, but I moved it to my shirt pocket and am good to go. I do wish there was a way to keep the pen/pencil in place without clipping it to the top so that it hangs out. Great Product overall!!

It's too long in length to put in shirt pocket. Too soft to write on. I like the magnetic feature but shorten the length and get rid of the padding.

I love the magnets that hold the line-ups in place. Wish there was a place for a pen or pencil. Too big for the pocket in my umpire ball bag. If I had it to do over again, I would not purchase it due to the size of the product.

I love the size and the overall construction of this lineup card holder. Magnets are a great idea! The only addition I would make would be to add a pouch inside that goes behind the lineup cards.

So it's pretty tough to give this a middling review since it's pretty solid functionality wise. However, this thing is absolutely massive. It's 1.5x longer than a standard game card holder which doesn't seem like a lot until you put it in your back pocket. It's great for baseball/softball when you can put it in a ball bag but no go for any other official.

I love this line up holder! The magnets on each side are strong enough to hold even over sized line up sheets that are folded over 2-3 times. The magnets also hold it closed while in my ball bag, and there is room in the center of it to hold even a fat pen or pencil along the seam. It fits in my back pocket fine if I'm using it on the bases too.

I use the holder for football. I wish you had a smaller length that could fit into a shirt pocket.

This is a very nice holder. It also functions very well. The clips are very good for holding lineup cards, and my Zebra pen fits nicely in the fold when closed. Materials feel premium.

I finally got to give my new lineup card holder a thorough workout this past weekend at a tournament. I LOVE IT!! IT's worth every cent! The magnetic clips work perfectly. I used one side for the two lineup cards and the other for my own game card (my own design). I put my full size G2 pen easily into the center fold. The plastic pen clip slid easily over the holder material. Several times, I simply placed the pen into the fold without clipping it. As long as I was careful in opening the holder, the pen fit perfectly in the fold and the holder closed completely with the two magentic clips keeping the folder closed and my pen inside. The holder is tall enough to fit nicely into the ball bag. The material is durable and should last a long time.

I have used many different lineup holders over the years and had resolved myself to a flimsy plastic ASA holder with a binder clip. After buying this one, however, I think I found the one I will use for quite some time. It is durable and the magnetic clips work very well for any size card. It is also a great size to fit in a ball bag. I generally put my lineup cards length-wise with the bottom folded up to keep score on. I don't have to flip the holder sideways or support it with my leg anymore to make substitutions. I highly recommend this product for anyone.

This holder looks sharp. Makes you look professional when calling balls and strikes for your game. It is a little big to the point where it will stretch the pocket on your umpire shirt. I think it just looks neater to grab the lineup card from the pocket.

I like the leather look and feel. It's compact size and the magnetic holder to keep the lineups in place is awesome. I had also bought the flip lineup holder, but I prefer the notebook style the best.

This is, by far, the best lineup holder yet. Longer length makes writing on lineups much easier, the magnets work better than clips, it holds a full-size pen in place nicely without having to use clips, and the over-all construction is going to last a lot longer that the plastic types I have used in the past. Adding a sleeve/slot inside would be my only suggestion.

This item is the best yet. It looks sleek and the clips. I don't need to have those metal paper clips any more. I have spent a lot on holders but this is really the best.

I like the larger size and the magnetic holding the card.. only downside.. it grabs the metal indicator in my bag and drags it out too... (magnets...)... I may have to use a plastic one going forward... but it's better than all the clips I used to use...

The magnetic lineup card holder works for me as I wear 2 ball bags. Baseballs go in one and the lineup card holder goes in the other. Car keys are also in the left side bag. I am a "righty."

I just purchased this product and I like it better than any lineup holder I have had. The magnets hold the lineup cards in place. Some lineup cards I receive are longer and a little wider making it harder to fit into your shirt pocket unless you fold the cards up. It seems well constructed to last longer than a season or two.

Best purchase of the season so far. No more clips and rubber bands etc. So easy to access the holder and deal with timeouts and substitutions. Looks so professional being able to handle the lineup cards quickly and easily. Fits into my ball bags nicely, is a little big for the shirt pocket, but that's no big deal to me. Absolutely recommend to anyone. Only wish it had a pen holder, but I can deal with that, for everything else it brings to the table.

To be honest its a nice holder, but it's not long enough to hold the long lineup sheets that every coach has. My ASA lineup holder is wider and just as long as this one.

Best lineup holder I've ever used. It's terrific! It is a little bit thicker than the other cheapo holders but it holds my Sharpie Pen nice and snug in the "spine." It's been worth every penny and I absolutely recommend it. I've used the cheapy plastic holders but they end up breaking before the end of the season. This is sturdy!!

This is by far the best information wallet I have used on the baseball field. I have tried many. The plastic ones always break, pencils fall out of the pockets, the ones that have the clip on them don't hold up, but this one is great. I had the original which was a little shorter and loved it, but the new longer length is great for High School and College teams that use larger lineups. The magnets that hold the lineups in place are the best feature. You cannot go wrong with this product.

This is a great product for anyone on the fence! I have purchased two items from Ray Brownlie and the quality is second to none. Actually ordered a third and he refused to ship because of subpar quality from his printer. There's a lot to be said for integrity in this business and Rays is way up there!
