Works well because no smudges. It does tend to come unscrewed and come apart at wrong moments.

I’ve now used this pen for several high school games and three tournaments. I’m really impressed. The pen writes smoothly, the red ink is very noticeable, and as an added surprise the pen is also durable. I wear it in my chest pocket as I’m working the plate and it has now taken two direct foul ball hits without breaking. It is well worth the money.

I have tried several ways to keep track of the line-up. Folding pens, mini pens and pencils, gel ink, etc. and all ended up smearing or letting me down in the long run. Until I tried the Zebra Rapid Dry Gel pens from Zarasa! These pens are worth the cost. They dry quickly, last a long time and look professional. The red is nice to have as most coaches will use black ink or a pencil, so easy to see your own notes at a glimpse. The gel ink works well in all types of weather. The paper line up card will wrinkle up and tear before you'll be unable to write due to weather. Do yourself a favor and get one or two of these. You can thank me later!

This is the second pen I've purchased now. The 1st bled out the top ruining the pocket of one of my shirts. The second pen is now showing the same possibility that it may happen again. Probably will not purchase the same pen again.

You know what, I was skeptical about this one. After all, it's a pen. How excited can you be? I used it in the cold and drizzle and I was really impressed. No smears, works on moist paper and it really stands out when you need to mark up a lineup card. I really like this, sure it's only a pen but, it's a really useful tool.

Bought this pen really just to fill free shipping $ but I really like using this on my lineup cards. Use a gel type RED INK pen anyway. Already had a chilly night game with it, no problem. 90 + degree came the other day, no issues. I'd recommend this to any of my official friends!

Just started using this pen and I love it, being left handed no ink smear on my hand from rubbing as I write, and it works in the rain without issues.

These are great pens. Been using them for years. Although they are gel, they don't smear as easily.

I would prefer a smaller pen but it does the trick.

Nice pen. Ink is very easy to read, and I have had no issues with it smearing, even on extremely hot, humid days when my shirt is soak, my hands are sweaty, etc. And the red body looks good clipped to the front pocket next to my lineup holder.

Works as advertised. Dries quickly, no smudges. The result of red ink on the lineup card is highly visible and easy to distinguish from the other information on the card. This pen is just short enough to fit into the 5" lineup wallet with only the top of the pen extending beyond the wallet.

I used this pen recently and it rained to start the game. The pen did smear a little but nothing like the other pens I have tried. I do like the color and the way it fits in my line-up card holder.

My wife said "it's just a red pen. What's the big deal?" I told her it always writes. No matter what, it has always written. Wet or dry, hot or cold. This pen is great. For the price, it's a great pen and fits well in any shirt pocket. I should've bought 2 when I ordered them as a spare.

I'm a lefty so I often smear when using a pen but not with this one and in the heat and humidity of Missouri, this pen works well and doesn't smear and for once I can read my lineup card!
