3N2 Reaction Pro Low Umpire Plate Shoes

Comfortable shoes. Really good material. I have experienced some foul balls and the shoe took the impact very well without feeling any pain in my foot.

Finally retired my Spot Bilt plate shoes after 27yrs; definitely got my money's worth out of them. Decided to go with these 3n2's after seeing a few other umpires wearing them and getting feedback from them. These are lightweight and comfortable.

They fit true to size for me. I ordered the wider shoes and they feel great.

Comfortable to begin with, but after 60 games they began to show wear, and by 115 games, they were completely shot, both the outside and inside. Lasted less than 6 months, but I did do over 115 games in them.

Comfortable, reliable shoe. Suggest ordering 1/2 size bigger. I use a shoe horn to keep the condition of the back of the shoe last for a long time. Good tread, will not slip or slide on smooth fields that have not been kept up.

They are a little stiff and tight in the toe box, but I'm a little in between needing a wide shoe vs. standard width. I got an 11, which is my normal shoe size. I'd give an extra ½ size as they run tight. Overall, great protection, comfortable, and look good.

These run about a 1/2 size small. I ordered 10 1/2 (my size in my other base and plate shoes) and my toes were jammed into the end. I returned for 11 and they fit perfectly.

Comfortable, lightweight shoe. One of the very few options for women to wear when they are about a women's size 7.5-8. The only downside with a new pair of shoes is they are stiff and somewhat difficult to tie when you first get them. Would definitely recommend and buy these again.

Very light but sturdy shoes; will update review after use on their durability. Per previous reviews, shoes run small so order a full size up from your normal. Ump-Attire makes the return exchange process very easy.

These umpire plate shoes are very comfortable to wear. I have a hard time finding shoes that fit my feet well and don’t cause them to hurt. I wore them for the first season tournament for four games and they didn’t hurt my feet at all. I wear either a size 13 or 14 depending on the brand and in these I wear a size 14.

These shoes fit well and they last about 3 years, then the hits start to catch up to them and the coating will peel. No need to pay for a higher priced shoe.

The shoes are comfortable. Because they are so light, they feel more like a regular shoe when compared to a heavy plate shoe. Yet they still provide great protection against 90 mph fastballs and kid catchers.

Good fit, and pretty light, needs a little breaking in, but overall nice.

Great plate shoes so far. I do think they may run about a 1/4" size small compared to what I’m used to.

Great umpire plate shoes so far! Had high-top plate shoes and they were uncomfortable. These low-top shoes seem quite comfortable and easy to clean.

Great product. I’m a huge fan of how comfortable the shoes are. They allow you to do everything you need to do behind the plate, and I don’t have to be concerned with being protected from foul balls!

These shoes are great. They are easy to break in, and very comfortable right out of the box. They run "true to size" as well. I wear an 11, and they fit me exactly like an 11 would. I would recommend these for any umpire that looking for a great plate umpire shoe.

Can't beat them for the price. Taken a few right off the shoe and felt nothing. Also very easy to clean.

Size runs a bit small...ordered my normal size but had to return for larger size. The RETURN PROCESS was the best process I've ever used!!! I had some questions about the best way to return so I used the website help and they were very helpful with getting the exchange and holding the delivery until I returned from vacation. The shipping was free and the order was replaced quickly. I HIGHLY recommend this site for any purchases!

Very comfortable! No chafing anywhere. For men, they might run a bit small because I wear a size 6.5 in women's and the men's size 6 fit me. I've heard that they probably have the composite soles that may break down with use or time. So did my last pair which lasted 16 years, so we'll see.

I still have other plate shoes, but kept seeing these. So I bought a pair and so happy I did. These plate shoes are great. So light, comfortable and great traction. A nice foam heel support is definitely a huge plus. Can't wait to wear them for travel ball, 6-7 plates a day.

Very comfortable - the perfect fit! The shoes even allow extra room for the addition of insoles for my plantar fasciitis.

Mixed reviews. For me, they only lasted a year. The bottoms (cleats/knobs) split away from the sole of the shoe. I would do 4 high school games a week, and then 8-10 games on a weekend (6 plates), so I definitely put work in. For light work (say half of what I just posted) or just doing a few games a week I'm sure they would be just fine, especially for the price. Clean up is pretty easy, but based on the material, don't expect that 'Super, see My Reflection Shine'. Taken 60+ MPH softballs off them, no problem. I did have to put inserts in them after one full season (about 175-200 games). 2 pair lasted me about 1½ good seasons. BOTH had same ending of cleats/knobs separating from the sole.

2nd pair was just put into use. Wore the first pair out. 3 seasons, March till November. Comfortable and ready to go right out the box. Recommend to everyone.

Have always used low-profile 3n2 plate shoes.

So these are my second and third pair bought from Ump-Attire.com. I have also recommended these plate shoes to new and seasoned umpires alike. They are at a great price point! My first pair lasted over 300 games and are still good enough to be a backup pair with minimal wear and tear. I wear the Force3 Exo-skeleton shin guards so I need the low "oxford" style plate shoe. Both offer very good protection...unless a catcher steps on one?!?! These 3n2 plate shoes clean up well & polish even better. The only very slight drawback for me & reason for the half star less than 5 is that I find the tongue to be a bit short but well-padded! Thanks, Ump-Attire.com for great sale pricing!

Love the shoes, great feel behind the plate. I should have gotten a wide size but that was my fault. But overall wonderful product.

I have had mine for a little over one season. Took a pitch straight to the side of the plate and it broke it in half. Leaving a massive bruise and swollen foot. I would not recommend this shoe to anyone.

Purchased these umpire plate shoes for my son and he loves them. Very lightweight and comfortable.

This is my first year umpiring and I'm starting off with 8U machine pitch. In the second inning of my first plate umpire job, I took a 38 mph ball my big toe. Thanks to these great 3N2 umpire plate shoes, all I felt was the ball bouncing off. They are also very comfortable. Make sure to order them a size bigger.

On my third year with this shoe. Hoping to get three years from them. My only complaint is that the outside material is peeling away like paint.

High comfort and high protection. I have no problem doing 3 or 4 games in a row in these, and you can take a ball right off the toe without feeling a thing.

These plate shoes are comfortable and weigh about half as much as my previous pair. I have taken a few direct hits without any problems. My only concern is that one side of the upper plate on the right shoe started separating at the edge after little more than a year of use.

Disappointing plate shoe, while it is comfortable and sturdy, the front of it is already chipped off after less than one season. Makes me look like I'm using a 5 year old shoe. You would think it would hold up better after 30 games or so.

Straight out of the box, 11 games in two days. My feet love them, and they are very picky.

Best umpire shoe ever, cannot believe how light weight they are. After some of the heavy clogs that came along these are GREAT. Protection is good also.....definitely would buy them again.
