Wilson MLB Black Dyna-Lite Aluminum Umpire Mask with Black and Grey Wrap Around

I love my new Wilson MLB Black Dyna-Lite Aluminum mask. Great comfort and protection with this mask - plus it looks awsome too. Excellent view of seeing everything. I haven't taken one to the mask YET - am CONFIDENT that with this being used by MLB umpires, I will be well protected at my high school and adult baseball leagues.

Love the mask!!! Very lightweight. Great protection when hit on the mask!! I don't feel much from a ball hitting the mask. Great for VARSITY baseball and all other leagues. I would recommend it, and I would buy it again.

Absolutely love this mask! Lightweight, very comfortable, and extremely durable. Have taken a couple of shots off of it so far, and barely felt any of them! I would highly recommend this mask for all levels, especially High School Varsity and up!

This mask is awesome. It is lightweight and comfortable. First game using it, I took a shot that a catcher missed directly to the face in a varsity game. I won't say that I didn't feel it because you always do, but there were no adverse affects. I was able to shake it off and complete the game. So thankful that I spent the money and got a quality mask.

Just purchased for spring HS season. Needed upgrade from a more entry level Wilson mask. Looks great, feels comfortable and I’m sure will have much better protection. Amazing how much lighter this mask is. Upon delivery and picking up the box I thought they forgot to put the mask in. I’ll report back after the 1st couple foul tip shots but I’m sure this will be a big step up in comfort and safety.

Love the umpire mask. Very comfortable despite being a little heavier than a titanium mask. Took a shot directly to the mask this weekend and felt nothing, right back to work. I ordered another one and now have a Wilson Dyna-Lite for both my bags.

I use the Wilson Dyna-Lite Aluminum umpire mask with memory foam pads and wanted to buy another mask as a backup. Originally I was just going to buy the cheapest mask I could buy, but decided to buy another mask with the same frame (because I love it so much). I decided I'd get this one with the wrap around pads for variety in both look and feel. I couldn't be happier as I know this mask won't be just a backup, but rather I will be rotating these masks from now on (and will always have the other as a spare if needed). I originally thought I'd prefer the all black look, but I'm really liking the look of the mask with these pads.

I bought this umpire mask new at the start of the 2019 season. I am 1 month into my 3rd season with this mask. I have taken a handful of shots off this mask over the past couple of years but went to do a plate last night and noticed the welds are broken in at least 6 places. Two of the breaks are in the middle of a bar and not on the junctions between 2 bars. Completely useless and unsafe to wear now. I love the lightweight mask and how it fits but its longevity and durability are questionable at best. This is the second Wilson aluminum umpire mask I have had to replace due to broken welds and Wilson will not stand by their product as I contacted them regarding the first mask that broke after a couple of seasons.

Light, strong, perfect fit.

A few things about this umpire mask. First and foremost, it can take a shot! I took a pretty hard shot off this mask in a pretty good high school varsity game and didn’t feel a thing. This mask is tough! It took me a few games to get used to this mask because the wrap around pads take some getting used to. Also, the mask is very hot during a warm day. Probably not the best option for these weekend tournaments during the summer. Last thing, the pads soak in the sweat and leave small stains. So the pads will probably not last more then two seasons before needing replaced. Overall though I give it 4 stars because it’s a very well built mask and I feel very protected behind the plate with it. I do recommend this umpire mask.

Great mask, lightweight! Went from Steel mask to this. My neck will thank me for those past time weekends working 10-15 plate jobs.

Excellent umpire mask, yet very lightweight. I love the black matte powder coating finish that cuts down glare. Excellent vision, including the periphery. I have a 5 5/8 inch capsize and had to pull the harness straps all the way out on top and sides to achieve a good fit. Overall, a great umpire mask at a great price.

I liked the weight of the umpire mask, but it did not fit me so I felt comfortable. I loosened all the straps to try and make it fit, but could not make that work. I need a mask to fit a 7 & 5/8 head. I will keep looking.

I got this mask about 3 weeks ago and was waiting to take a foul ball off it before I write a review. I didn't feel anything, no marks on the mask. Love it!

Great umpire mask! Lightweight, comfortable and looks professional. Have called 50+ High School games with it and it can take a hit. The wrap around padding is extremely comfortable and easy to clean. I highly recommend this product.

What a great mask. A fellow umpire recommend that I purchase this mask. Wow!! What a great upgrade compared to the boat anchor mask I had hanging from my head before. This mask is very light weight and great eye sight for the ball game. So if you want to spend the money on a new mask I would recommend this mask, you will not regret it one bit.

I decided to go back to a traditional mask after using the goalie style bucket for a few years, and I love this mask, it's light and I don't even notice it when its under my arm, just another great product from an awesome company.

I really love this umpire mask - lightweight, but the wrap-around pads are very comfortable and offer tremendous protection. The matte black finish on the bars cuts out any glare. An excellent product that will protect you and feel great while doing it!

I love my new umpire mask. It felt a bit strange when I put it on at home because of the shape of the padding, but it is so comfortable. I got hit in the face in the first HS scrimmage game with a fastball that the catcher did not put a glove on. (Yes, the catcher was talked to). I hardly felt it. Great mask.

Used this mask for the first time on 3/12/16. Good visual allowance, lightweight and the pads are very comfortable. I was concerned about the aluminum bars, but I took one hard shot directly into the center of the mask and no issues and no shock.
