I think the Richardson hats are far superior to the Smitty ones. Their construction is sturdier and they are slightly heavier than the Smitty but don't make me any hotter. They do run slightly larger than their size indicates, so keep that in mind when ordering.

Mizuno Charcoal Grey Flat Front Umpire Base Pants with Expander Waistband

These Mizuno pants have some good features, but those are negated by the absurd fit. They are so droopy in the seat it's almost silly looking. The rise on these pants is 20" in the back, and 15" in the front. Go measure a pair of your existing pants and you will see that's wildly long. I put them next to the Smitty pants that I ordered and received at the same time. The Mizuno's are at least 2-3" longer in the seat than the Smittys. It looks like I'm wearing a saggy diaper in the Mizunos. I'm 5'9" and normal weight so it might be a little better for you if you're taller, but they're so oddly shaped that I think they'd still leave you with a droopy behind. I did like the color - it's a solid charcoal. And I did like the material - it's a little more substantial than the Smittys without being heavy, whereas the Smittys are very wispy and thin golf pant material. I wanted to like them, and I will use them, but I wouldn't buy them again.
