Great skull cap. I wore it for 4 games this weekend, very comfortable, did not stick to my mask once. I was worried that the skull cap would not be large enough, I wear a 7 3/4 to 8 cap, but the extra-large size fit well. It is about time umpires have a skull cap made just for them. The exterior of the cap gets very warm, doused it with water a few times. If you are on the fence, buy it, it is great.
Questions About This Product
|Q:||Any opinion on using the Cobalt skull cap with a Force 3 mask? Have you heard of any fit issues between the two?|
– John Porada
These two pieces should not present any issues fitting together. The mask harness of the Force 3 Defender will accommodate the increased size of the skull cap very easily. The Force 3 Defender mask, having been originally designed for catchers in mind has the perfect shape to rest on a skull cap. The effectiveness of the Force 3 S3 spring assembly will be greatly enhanced with the additional protective layer of the All-Star Cobalt Skull Cap.– Ty Unthank
