UMPLIFE Ice Cap

This has been a game changer since acquiring the All-Star Cobalt skull cap in lieu of normal hats under the mask. It's been hotter and more humid in Michigan this summer and with this ice cap, it has helped keep my head cool and eyes tracking pitches (sometimes in the field too if necessary). If you sweat easily, this is the accessory needed to combat the hot summer days, especially on turf fields too.

Wore this for the first time this weekend during heat advisory here in the northeast. Works great. Wet it with cold water every few innings and wore it under my cap & face mask. Kept my head cool!

Good product. Helps keep you cool however, it heats up very quick.

I put the cap in a cooler and submerged it in ice. I put it on my head and under my cap on a 100+ degree day. It almost instantly got warm. Maybe it was the heat. Maybe it's that I'd been outside already for two games. But I don't think it worked for me.

Very comfortable. Keeps the sweat from running down your face. I have soaked mine in ice water and it works even better.

The ice cap fits very nicely. It's lightweight. I haven't worn it yet (all night games since a received it). It will be beneficial under my hockey style helmet in the summer and winter.

The Ice Cap was a game changer for me working games in the South Florida sun. I use the Wilson MLB Pro Stock Titanium Helmet instead of a face mask and hat/cap so I needed help keeping the sweat out of my eyes. Not only did it eliminate the perspiration problem, but it also made me feel cooler and help keep my sunglasses from fogging up.

Cap works great. Nice fit both under a regular hat or hard cover helmet. Also, kept me warm.

Definitely going to need to order another. This has been amazing. From keeping the sweat out of my eyes and keeping my noggin cool during August heat.

I bought two these caps. Love them. Keeps my head cool and the sweat out of my eyes.

I used this cap for the first time today. Here in Ohio it was 97 degrees. As for cooling not so great BUT to keep sweat off my face and neck it worked great. I'm a bigger, bald guy and I sweat a lot. Usually I carry a hand towel for this reason. Tonight I hardly touched my towel. The sweat stayed in the Cool Cap. My hat was soaked but not a drop of sweat hit my face and neck. I will continue to use the cap on hot days. I highly recommend UMPLIFE products.

Had a doubleheader and it turned out to be 90 that day. This cap came in just in time! It’s incredible!!! Fits snug and my hat and cools you down instantly. I would poor a little ice water on it between innings and it cooled my whole body. A definite must have for those hot summer days.

I used the cap for the first time this past weekend in a tournament. The cap certainly makes the hat fit more snug, there is a cooling element with the cap, but it doesn't last long in the heat. What I liked best is that I sweat a lot and it kept the sweat from running down my face from my forehead.

Great little cap. I am a 7 1/4" hat size and it is snug...I am bald, so my stubble helps keep it in place. I am eager to see how it performs later the season when it gets really warm down here in the Southwest.

It's my first time using this product, so I'll try to see what it looks like during the game. It would be great if it could prevent the hat from falling off.

I use this product primarily to make sure my hat is snug under my cap. It does a good job keeping sweat from my cap and eyes. In hot weather is also does provide cooling relief. I soak it in water every couple of innings.

I must be using this wrong. This is my third attempt at various, similar products that claim to help keep you cool. Initially it works...for like a minute.

Used this for a preseason scrimmage in pretty high heat and it did awesome, recommend this product.

The UMPLIFE Ice Cap definitely does cool your head quickly, but its prolonged cooling is not great. I definitely refresh it after every inning or half-inning, as needed. As stated elsewhere, it is great for keeping the sweat out of your eyes. Used in conjunction with Cool-Catcher Max Helmet Cooling System, keeps your head temperature cooler, preventing fogging from glasses.

Works great keeping sweat out of my face. Now I can wear my glasses without them fogging up.

Keeps sweat out of eyes but nothing "ice" about it. Cools for about 4 seconds.

Works well. Keeps sweat out of the eyes. Was concerned it being tight because I have a large head size, but fits fine. Very lightweight. Think it's a better long term solution than the No Sweat Cap liners which worked well but had to replace constantly.

In the hot Florida sun, you need something to cool you down quickly. I keep this in my cooler and by the third inning, it is put on my head to cool me down. Double headers in the hot sun, go faster with this product.

Just purchased this to try out. As I'm getting older and have less hair, this will help protect my head from the sun, and help keep the sweat out of my eyes. Only complaint, I wish it would come in solid black color.

I have only used this once so far, the other night, and though it wasn't hot outside, I could tell it worked well based on the fact that it was soaking wet but my hair wasn't. Also, I switched to a skull cap helmet and it's nice to have this cap as a buffer.

I am going to the skull cap under my umpire mask for more protection this season. I sweat a lot, so I was worried sweat would get into my eyes. This UMPLIFE Ice Cap absorbs the sweat; took care of all my worries. It did not affect the sizing on my hard shell skull cap at all. Looking forward to seeing if their is a noticeable cooling difference in our hot and humid Minnesota summers.

This is really nice to use in the heat and it easy to store. I would recommend this to anyone.

Have only used in one game. I use a skull cap, and it does not affect the fit. It absorbs the sweat and keeps it out of my eyes.
