New Balance MLB All-Black Low-Cut Umpire Base Shoes

Got a great deal on a great pair of base umpire shoes. Been wearing them around the house and can't wait to get on a ball field.

This is the second pair of these umpire base shoes that I have purchased. Comfortable, flexible and they provide excellent traction on grass or turf.

Super comfortable, looks great, easy to clean, and lightweight. Not much more you can ask of an umpire shoe. Will buy again when these get worn out.

This is my 3rd pair of base umpire shoes in four years and are BY FAR the most comfortable and light weight I've ever worn. I didn't even have to replace the insoles which I normally do for most shoes. One thing I noticed about the shoes is that the top of the toes do not get as hot in direct sunlight. Did an eight game stretch in Phoenix yesterday and my feet were not hot like they are in other base shoes. These will be my base shoes going forward.

Very comfortable shoe. When you first put it on for the day it will feel tight around the toes but once you start moving it loosens up. Cleans easy too!

Super comfortable and they look great. I ordered a 2E, same as my plate shoes, and I've found the fit to be a touch narrower. I'm sure they will break in a bit more going forward, but if you have a chance to try a couple of different widths before purchasing, I'd recommend it.

These umpire base shoes are really comfortable and light. I have been wearing New Balance's Umpire shoes for about the last 8 years and they have always been comfortable and wear very well. Nice quality shoe that is easy to maintain.

Comfortable from the first time you put them on. Wears forever and cleans up nicely!!

Absolutely appreciate the wider widths. 1st thing I did was put a clear polish on the leather & spray the mesh. I broke them in on a rainy evening. If you stay diligent & clean them each game, they will stay new looking for quite some time. So far so good.

This was a gift I purchased for my son for his birthday. This is the second time he has asked for these shoes. He said they are very comfortable and last a long time. He uses them all summer long as he is an umpire for baseball and is very happy with this product.

First time purchasing base shoes and these are very comfortable. I normally wear a size 10, but these were a bit small at that size. Exchanged them for a 10.5 and couldn't be happier.

Great shoes! Very comfortable and sharp looking. For high school in my state, all black is required for playoffs (!!) and I feel like these are the best looking all-around solid black base shoes. Thankfully they are also the most comfortable!

I've worn many base shoes over the many years. These are by far the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. The support was fantastic. My feet didn't hurt after the long games on the field.

I love the New Balance turf shoe. I was using a similar new balance before it started to wear out, which I bought these. I actually use the shoe for baseball and football. I don't have traction problems on grass and can plant and change directions very easily. The last pair lasted me for about 5 years working through 2 sports nearly year round in Florida. I think they are well worth the purchase.

I had size 11 in the previous model and ordered the size 11 again. Seemed tight initially but it is perfect. Comfortable and professional looking.

These shoes seem to be great. They seem to be comfortable and have soles that will obviously have good traction. I have a pair of NB plate shoes and my regular size is just a tad too big. So I bought the next size down with these shoes and they are way too small. I wish there was more consistency with New Balance shoes. Otherwise, once I get this figured out, I think they will be great shoes.

Extremely comfortable. These base shoes look great and help add style and professionalism to any umpire. Having the same equipment that MLB umpires wear makes a difference to me. I find myself looking at what some other umpires wear, and it's laughable. I take this seriously, and your equipment, no matter the task is as important as your knowledge of the game. Great product.

These are the most comfortable base shoes I have owned. I have had other brands that were comfortable, but these have lasted the longest and they get worn a lot. In fact with the September specials that Ump-Attire.com is offering, I just ordered a new pair for the Spring. My current ones will become my backup base shoes.

Unbelievably comfortable and reasonably priced. This will definitely be the ump shoes I go with from now on.

Very light and comfortable, good sizing. Cooler then previous New Balance base shoes. I scotch guarded the mesh part and it cleans up well.

Like wearing slippers. Over 30 years of umping and reffing - these base shoes are amazingly comfortable. Good support, and fit. I, too, didn't think I'd like the mesh but I do. One drawback, they are low cut and I get a few pebbles in them; I'll order the high tops next time.

These are the most comfortable umpire base shoes I have ever worn. They are more comfortable than my running shoes. Light weight and they don't hold in nearly as much heat as the old version.

Best base shoe I have ever worn. I have tried Nike, Mizuno, Reebok, and New Balance. These are the best, comfortable, light, and they look good. They have incorporated running shoe tech into the shoe. Anyone who has tried them really likes them.

MOST COMFORTABLE New Balance base shoe yet!!! I have wide and flat feet, usually my feet are screaming after a DH...but not with these umpire shoes!!!

Great, lightweight base shoe. New Balance has the perfect fit (I wear 4E width), and I wear NB shoes off the field as well. Being nit-picky, not a huge fan of the look, not that the pictures are off they just looked different on (to me) than I was expecting. Also not a huge fan of the "mesh" from the middle to back, little tougher to clean over time. Does help with venting though. Recommended.

The shoe is very comfortable and lightweight. I don't like the way they look as much as the old models, though. They don't have that patent shine, and the cloth is more difficult to keep clean. Plus, I like the 'N' being on both sides. But, as for comfort on the field, they are first rate. Assuming they are durable, I would buy them again. I love having a 4E width.

Just bought a pair a few weeks ago and finally got to wear them. They are the lightest pair of umpire base shoes I have ever had. Fit is great and I love the fact that they are made in 4E width. The only thing that would improve them is a more cushioned insole like I have in some of my NB running shoes. Overall a 5 star rating.

What else is there to say about New Balance shoes? They are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned.
