All-Star's Lightweight Ultra Cool Pads (LUC) for their Magnesium Umpire Mask offer advanced protection compared to traditional pads.

The bottom pad is extended and over-sized for advanced protection from both force and frame shifting upon impact with an additional layer of ABS plastic acting as a moisture-barrier.

Both top and bottom pads are wrapped in soft deerskin leather.

I really like the look of these pads with the black frame. They are a bit heavier than the original pads, but only add a few ounces to the weight of the mask. The protection offered with the All-Star umpire mask and pad is excellent. The deer skin is very comfortable and looks great.

These umpire mask replacement pads feel better against my face compared to original pads that are with mask.

I love the way my black All-Star Magnesium umpire mask looks with this leather pads set and after using it for the first time the other night I couldn't be happy with the way it feels on my face. My mask came with the standard black padding, so I can switch back and forth of need be, and the process to change the pads was super easy.
