UMPS CARE & Ump Attire Night Out at the Ballpark
Jun 17th, 2024UMPS CARE Charities and Ump Attire teamed up to provide young Kentuckiana umpires with an unforgettable experience at a Triple-A baseball game.
The night’s highlight was a Q&A session withTriple-A umpire crew of Mitch Trzeciak, Ben Phillips, and Willie Traynor. The 3-umpire crew shared how they became professional umpires. This included inspirational stories of their beginnings at the same age as the young umpires in attendance.
The local umpires along with our staff visited the field pre-game, and we all watched our Louisville Bats play and watch the pro umpires work.
Each local umpire received gift bags with UMPS CARE swag and the best Ump Attire accessories they can use in their next game.
Thank you UMPS CARE for making this unique experience of bringing Minor League Umpires, local youth umpires and our staff together 2 years in a row.
