Smitty All-Black Umpire / Referee Field Shoes

Great shoes and Ump Attire is the best when it comes to customer service. There are a lot of retailers out there, but I've found Ump Attire to be the most customer service oriented. In my experience, these shoes do run a little small. I went with a 1/2 size larger than normal and they fit perfectly.

I recently purchased these shoes. They are really comfortable in the field! Just did my first game with them. I had to send my first pair back because they were too small. Re-ordered the same pair a 1/2” longer then my normal size and they fit great.

Fits true to size. Comfortable and easy to clean. I like the way they look and makes appearance more professional.

Bought these to replace my New Balance. They are extremely light weight and I love how the sole is thicker for more support. If you do tournaments in the south, they are what you need for those long days.

After the last few weeks wearing the Smitty base shoes I have been very pleased! I was very weary of buying these due to the unavailable width options for my typical fit. I have found that my 4E width is not a problem for these in my normal size. These shoes clean up very well unlike others with newer mesh options. I'm sticking with these for good!

Not comfortable while running. Need better insole padding. Looks good, fits fine.

These shoes aren't worth the money!! Hard soles, no flexibility. Makes my insole and Achilles tendon sore.

I have worn these for several games and love them. My feet have felt great during & after each game to this point. In my opinion, the finish is perfect. It is not overwhelming with patent leather shininess but provides a sharp look when you step on the court. I like that it is all leather with no fabric. I plan to purchase a pair for the softball season as well.

So far, good referee shoes. It could be wider.
