Richardson Surge Adjustable Combo Plate / Base Umpire Cap

I have other Richardson made plate/combo hats. This cap keeps with the quality of materials and finish as the others I have. But, the design must have been changed because this one does not fit like others I have. The cap sits so far down on my head that it puts an uncomfortable amount of pressure on my ears.

Very well finished and very comfortable. We printed our association logo on it and it looked very nice.

This hat fits well under the new All-Star Hockey-Style Mask I’m wearing this season. With a little practice, it says on my head when I clear my helmet.

This is a great combo cap. I ordered a few for my umpire crew and had our local logo stitched on. Really looks great! These caps hold up great even after multiple washing in our machine on a gentle cycle.

Cap is very sturdy and looks nice, but it's designed for a very tall head. Just so I am clear I have an average head size and have never had a cap that sits so low that it pushes your ears down.

For me, it's good for having on the bases but my mask doesn't stay put as well compared to my other hats while behind the plate.

Good quality and comfortable. I know some don't like the adjustable caps, but they are great for days when you have headaches, or some days when it just seems like your regular size is just too snug.

Finding fitted caps in my size is hard. This adjustable combo cap was perfect for what I needed. It is not fancy but it works for H.S. Fastpitch Softball. Thanks Ump-Attire.com for having what we umpire's need and getting it to us super-quick.

I was not sure I would like this style of hat and figured it may be hotter than the mesh caps, but it actually absorbs the sweat better and is cooler than the mesh. Plus it holds its form better also. I have been using the fitted hats for 8 years, but with the adjustable hats, as it gets wet and stretches, you can adjust to tighter fit if needed. Good hats!!

This is a very nice hat and a good value. It looks good and has a velcro closure.
