I changed to this from the original harness. It is a much better fit and feel, and actually much more comfortable! The rubber grips on the inside has a superior feel with a skull cap, yet it’s not so attached to it where you have to worry about the skull cap coming off when you pull your mask off. If nothing else, when you buy any Force3 Defender Umpire Mask, make sure you get this harness as well. You’ll be glad you did!

| Q: | I tried this harness with my size small cobalt skull cap and the Defender 3 mask. The side straps were barely long enough to attach to the velcro (about 1/4"). I need to get a medium cobalt skull cap and I don't think the harness side straps will be long enough. How long are the side straps supposed to be? – Linda Mccarthy |
