Official Review: All-Star Cobalt Umpire Skull Cap - Regular Matte
The All-Star Cobalt Skull Cap is the first hard-shell skull cap designed specifically for baseball umpires—developed in collaboration with Major and Minor League Baseball. This updated model features a smooth matte finish, replacing the previous sand-matte texture, for a sleeker, more professional look that pairs seamlessly with today’s umpire masks and harness systems.

This is comfortable and I feel safer wearing this cap. I'm glad I purchased it! Even if it's not being summer yet, I think it'll be not too hot. Love this!

The measurements are true. The reason that it is from 7 to 7 1/8 is because there is a foam padding that contours to your head. I have not used this helmet yet, but I truly look forward to it fits very comfortably on your head.
Questions About This Product
| Q: | I wear a 7 7/8 hat, and have not been able to find a skully which fits — in fact, I have an EvoShield I ordered from Ump Attire that I unboxed, tried on at home, realized it was too small, and then forgot about and let a return window close. Will the XL work, or do those of us with the huge skulls have to keep hoping one of the manufacturers will one day realize the market needs one more option? – Colby Huff |
| A: | The XL of the EvoShield Pro-SRZ Vented Skull Cap is sized for up to an 8 so you will most definitely feel more fitted. Unfortunately, this All-Star Cobalt only ranges to 7 5/8. – Cortney AndersonCustomer Service Specialist |
