Love these shin guards! Light yet I don't feel anything when hit. Love snaps instead of metal hooks. Only issue is pants can get caught in top, once in a while. Tip on this site to move interior pad up reduces times pants get caught, really helps! Removable pads hold up to washings, so far.

Force3 Silver Defender Umpire Mask with Tan

After 15 years of using an umpire mask, I went to the hockey style helmet a few years ago. However, due to visibility issues I decided to ditch the bucket and sprung for the Defender mask. I absolutely love it. Definitely five stars. Unlike another reviewer, I actually think this is very lightweight. I love the field of vision and I also bought a titanium throat cage which attaches to protect the adam's apple. It was worth the investment for me. I couldn't be more pleased with the Force3.
