New Balance continues to set the standard for umpires & referees with the all new V4 Black & White Umpire & Referee Field Shoes. The V4 upgrades feature added comfort, improved traction and a better positioned “N” logo.

First, it has increased FreshFoam in the midsole. This supports you by keeping your feet fresh all-game or all games during long days at the field.

Second, the V4 has a Hydro Hesion rubber outsole. This is New Balance’s proprietary rubber compound designed for excellent grip on wet and slick playing surfaces.

Third, some will prefer the “N” logo in the center on the V4 rather than closer to the toe.

I just took delivery of my New Balance V4 Black & White Low Cut base shoes; the timing couldn’t have been better as my old NBs gave out only last weekend. The comfort level is next-level; the Fresh Foam insole literally feels like walking on air. They are super light on my feet and the fit is perfect. Working the bases has never felt this good. 10/10, Highly recommend! Kudos to the team in getting the shoes to Australia in such quick time.
