Fabulous product all around.

Christopher L. Herndon, VA |
Outstanding fit, looks great. Waiting to use this spring.

Kyle H. Fort Collins, CO |
Better than the trash bag but not a fan of the wrist cuffs, best worn with the sleeves off for me personally.

Love this jacket. Very versatile. A little warm. A little difficult to put in and take off with chest protector, bit not unmanageable. Would love to see a delta blue version with a more breathable material. I love the ability to take the sleeves on or off. A black but more lightweight, more breathable version that could be work on semi warm days would be a huge positive as well. Overall, I highly recommend.

I wore this jacket about 5 times and I love it! The zip off sleeve feature is great! I recommend this for anyone who needs a jacket that is good quality.

Jarrid C. Amston, CT |
Comfortable solution to early Spring or Fall games. I could use a tall fit, and needed to order the XL rather than the L for the length in the arms. For me, 6'5" - 235, the XL fits big and would be fine with a large chest protector. Might order a L in the future for base games and manage the shorter sleeves when attached.

Kory W. Wynne, AR |
Fits great. Love the ability to zip the sleeves on and off on those warm afternoons into colder evenings.

Daniel W. Hales Corners, WI |
Best umpire jacket I have ever purchased and I have bought at least a dozen. Great fit, tucks in nicely, and finally a jacket that is truly waterproof. Bought two sizes, one for bases and one for plate. Needed my normal XL size for my chest protector. Real good pocket size for my card holder.

Mark J. Luxemburg, WI |
Love the looks and it's a nice lightweight jacket. I do wish it had a drawstring as I prefer to not tuck in a jacket but with this one you almost have to.

Kevin B. Anderson, CA |
Major League Baseball convertible jacket. Love it but should have ordered a size up. Don't like that there are no pockets or drawstring.

Kenneth M. Bayfield, CO |
This is essential gear for spring baseball in Colorado. This is a great transition from wearing the must have thermal to the rare occasion we can wear just a shirt in Colorado.
|
Chad M. Papillion, NE |
Definitely a must have for umpires on those days where the thermal jacket is too much and the long sleeve shirt won't cut it. Looks great on the bases or behind the plate.
|
Tim F. Farmingdale, NY |
Great pullover for those cooler windy days. Although it says sized for the plate (unless you have a partner to help you pull it over your chest protector) it’s hard to get on alone. I used the West Vest and once on it fits fine. I did buy a second one though, and sized up for plate, in case working alone as I like some room when doing plate work. All in all a great product!
|
Mark E. Eagle Mountain, UT |
Love having the zip off sleeves. Remember that it is sized up for plate gear, so order a size smaller for the base.
|
Neal J. Phoenix, AZ |
My favorite buy of the year!! Huge upgrade from the previous model! Very good fit and professional look. I will be wearing this a lot in the upcoming season!
|
Brian H. Endicott, NY |
Nice fit and nice having the zip-off sleeves.
|
Renaldo C. Bristol, RI |
Quality material, does the job.
|
Richard D. Eastchester, NY |
I wear this now when officiating, off ice, high school ice hockey. I also have a hoodie on underneath.
|
Dave A. Redding, CA |
This a great jacket looks great but their a few things that I would recommend some changes for this jacket. I wish that Ump Attire would do a review on this jacket and show people more detail on it. 1) Put pockets in this jacket just like they did in the hard shell one. 2) Have the bottom of jacket either tapered on the bottom and or a draw string to gather it just like the heavier jacket that is on the website.
|
Jesse S. Lebanon, MO |
A "must-have" in my opinion. Good fit, and great looking jacket.
|
Brent J. Paragould, AR |
Needs a cord at the bottom of the jacket so you can blouse it without tucking it in.
|
Drew A. Lexington, KY |
Runs big in my opinion. Still a good jacket.
|
Stan J. Hoxie, AR |
I ordered this pullover in my size and I love it. It is the best fit for me and I love to use it when I'm put in the field on the bases.
|
Mark D. Camden, DE |
I like the look and fit - long enough for me to tuck and for it to remain tucked. It does seem to run a little big, and I think it will work for me on both bases and plate. My only wish is that it have side slash pockets for putting lightweight gloves or hand warmers hence the 4.5 stars.
|
Robert M. Portland, OR |
Excellent convertible shell at a good price. Sleeves zip off if it warms up as the game progresses. Great when you have a partner that matches, which more and more do. I would just reiterate what Ump-Attire says, that it runs a bit big, which was a plus for me. Usually I get Large for bases and XL for plate, but the Large in this jacket will accommodate my All-Star Cobalt chest protector; I’m 220 lbs and 5’11”. The only downside is that not everyone has this style yet.

Patrick B. Gilbert, AZ |
Looks sharp! Same size on the plate or bags and fits pretty true to size! Very comfortable too!
|
Joe F. Nampa, ID |
Great pullover. Perfect for a light cover and looks good.
|
Van H. South Carolina |
Great spring time jacket. Wavering between mid 60s and mid 70s, great to remove the sleeves
|
Mark H. Oregon City, OR |
As advertised. This pullover is fantastic! I would recommend this umpire jacket.
|
Barry D. Spartanburg, SC |
Like this jacket. Looks sharp on the field and accommodates plate gear. I do recommend sizing down if wearing on the bases.

|
Stephen M. Cabot, AR |
Exactly as advertised. Appears to be very well made and the size accommodates plate gear.
|
Eric G. Pelican Rapids, MN |
Sharp jacket. Very impressed with the quality. Provides a major league look. Definitely size down for the bases.
|
David R. Kirkland, WA |
Great jacket. Did plate last night in Seattle. Typical drizzle, mid 40's. Keep me warm and dry.
|
Brett S. Thomasville, NC |
Love the new look. It correlates great with the black and grey shirts.
|
Travis H. West Virginia |
Great look and feel! Fits a little large, will be perfect for behind the plate!
|
Anthony M. West Sacramento, CA |
This jacket is super comfortable and lightweight, but still keeps you warm and dry during games. Definitely recommend this for plate work!
|
Joseph B. Redwood City, CA |

Fellow Umpires: I was fortunate to get the 'Official' Majestic version. By viewing Ty's 'reveal' and seeing the Smitty version, will back up his comment, this piece is warm to wear. One modification that this piece has is the convertible sleeves to the Majestic. When Majestic marketed this piece it was noted as a PLATE Jacket. It is very sharp.
