Just finished up my 3rd season with these. I like the low profile. They are lightweight and I like the feel of them. I do wear wristbands on my lower legs to help absorb varsity-level shots, but this is due to my thin legs. Not a complaint about this product per se since I've been doing the wristband trick for years with each and every set I have ever used. The curse of having chicken legs...

Very good shin pad. Rubs a little on my knee, but wearing leggings resolves that easily. Have already taken a shot to them, and no issues.
