I have a big head 7 7/8 to 8 depending on if I want it loose or not. The L/XL fit nicely, not tight or squeezing at all. I also sweat a lot and these have not allowed it to drip into my face like my mesh flex fit ones have in the past. They wash up nicely when I have time to wash them but retain smell (working four or five nights a week).
