Nice umpire shirt. The sleeves are slightly tight as my chest protector keeps creeping out down my arm so I have to pull the shirt down often to cover it up. Lightweight, breathes well.

Smitty is the best brand of umpire shirts that I know of. They're breathable but are still thick so they don't allow much sun through them, but still allow a breeze through them. Especially with THIS price, get them. My local umpire store sells them for $35.

Smitty is the most commonly worn umpire shirt in our area. You simply cannot beat the color selection, quality, and price of these shirts. They also hold their color well, do not rip easily, they retain their shape in spite of pulling it on and off over umpire gear all year and they breathe well in the heat.

Ordered XL but found I needed L. Return and reorder procedure was clean and easy. Now fits perfectly over my chest protector and still allows a little extra room for umping while on the bases. Bought 3 different colors and I'll probably buy a second of each once the season starts!

Not a bad umpire shirt. However I prefer the Honig's shirts. I think the Honig's are lighter and cooler. The Smitty's are more dependable.

I liked the material, but it wasn't the best cut. Ended up returning it. I'm 5'10" 190 lbs. and relatively fit and the main problem was the cut of the arms. I was in a medium and they were just not that flattering. I was actually hesitant to buy in the first place after not liking the cut on the model UA used (not a knock on him!).

Fits as expected. This was a replacement shirt (used my previous one for several seasons) and is exactly like my previous version so no complaints and the quality/feel of this umpire shirt is the same as always.

These are now my favorite umpire shirts. After using these for an entire summer in Arizona, I can say they have impressed me. I have used both black and polo blue colors behind the plate on days it was 116 degrees out and they breathed nicely. The quality is unbeatable while the price is a steal. You won't go wrong with this shirt.

Very comfortable fit and great price!

These Smitty shirts are the best on the market in my opinion. They are heavier than the open mesh designed shirts, but still breathe nicely. I also don't feel like I'm getting sun burned through the shirt when I wear them, unlike the open mesh shirts. With a performance undershirt underneath I have no problem umpiring all day out in the 103+ degree Texas sun.

These shirts are good quality shirts, the only down side to them is they are heavier then for example the ultimate shirt, or any of the micro-mesh shirts. I would not recommend wearing one of these shirts if you are behind the plate on a hot day. I would however recommend these shirts for early spring and fall games.
