Chest protector is very light which is a change from my previous hard outer shell chest protector. The shoulder and kidney protectors are Velcro'd in place which makes them adjustable. Have not taken a hard shot yet but at the high school and recreational level should be more than adequate.

Glad I upgraded to this bag, fits everything I need to either work the plate or base. Have all my clothes plus jackets in the bottom while in the center top has all my plate gear plus in the two different zipper sections in the center I have my stop watch and notebooks in one while sunblock and bug lotion in the other. No more wondering if I forgot something.

Comfortable and fits well, I’ve folded the shoulder pad so that it hangs on me so if the straps loosen up it stays where I want it. Have already taken 70mph balls to the lower area and didn’t feel a thing, glad I upgraded.
