These are great for both plate and bases, and what I really like is they dry out in no time afterwards. Yes, they do get a little soggy, but it helps keep you stay cool throughout and that is super important.

Ok I am going to honest with you all. This Under Armour short sleeve Compression shirt is a very form fitting shirt for those that are fit great. I order a 3xl and its a very tight for my size of a person. If you're a big guy I am sorry to say but this shirt needs to have a better discerption on how tight it fits I had to return it.
