Smitty Long Sleeve Body Flex Umpire Shirt - Powder Blue

What can I say? Smitty just makes the best umpire shirts at a reasonable price. The long sleeve shirt is my favorite, as here in the northeast, with the exception of June, and July (Travel ball takes a break in August and School ball is over by the end of May) most of my games are in the early spring and fall. which is usually too cool for short sleeves and I hate wearing a jacket when doing the plate. I would much rather use layers with a Long sleeve shirt when behind the plate.

I bought the long sleeve to reduce my sun exposure. It seems to breathe well. But, I’m not totally sold on the body flex material. Let’s see what’s it’s like to wear in July.

With the cold weather up here in New Hampshire, this shirt will fit the bill in keeping me warm this season. Made to last.
