Description

This Referee Communication System by Midland makes on-field game communication for your crew quick and easy! Works great for training, too.

Each package includes 2 radios, 2 headsets (2 microphones and ear pieces) and 1 charger. Buy multiple packs up to your crew size. (Example: Crew of 4, grab 2 packs.)

Each crew member: clip a radio to your belt, clip your microphone to your collar and put in the ear piece. Set your radio to the same channel. Now your crew can communicate hands-free with voice-activation just like officials at the collegiate and pro levels.

I would like to say these radios are great, except out of the 3 pairs I got, 1 of the radios is not charging properly. I have sent an email back, but yeah it's ok. I might just order another one. Thanks again Ump-Attire.com team.

Due to Covid-19, this is our 1st time to be able to on-field communication. This is excellent for the price. No need to spend several hundred dollars. These work great.

Through 2 weeks, we are seeing how much this referee communication system helps! Great equipment to have for football. Glad Arkansas finally got on board to allow us to use them!

Questions About This Product

Q: What’s the battery life on the low power setting? I’m a Volleyball official, and we often work 12 hours at tournaments. A lot of Volleyball officials are looking at the soccer radio sets, but a friend said he liked these a lot, and the earpiece looks more comfortable.

A:

In my experience with these referee communication systems for football, the battery life on the lower power setting is about 6-10 hours. The earpieces are comfortable, and I like the push to talk feature so that the communication lines aren't open at all the time, hearing the excess noises going on around the game. One advantage to these, is they can be powered by a rechargeable battery pack (included), or AAA batteries (not included), so it would be possible to start your day with a full charge, and if it runs out before the last game has completed, you have AAA batteries on hand to swap out and be back in communication.
