Worth the extra money if you're in this for multiple years. The hightop cut was a bit of an adjustment getting my shin guards to set properly around it but once I figured it out I have enjoyed the shoe. It feels like the same weight as smaller shoes and are very comfortable. I have taken only one to the toe box area and barely noticed it occurred.

Fits true to size so don't try and squeeze into them as they are compression. Definitely more comfortable than wearing the jock strap for a long game or games.

All-Star Internal Shell Umpire Chest Protector

Chest protector is very light which is a change from my previous hard outer shell chest protector. The shoulder and kidney protectors are Velcro'd in place which makes them adjustable. Have not taken a hard shot yet but at the high school and recreational level should be more than adequate.
