This matches the color and style of the Force3 silver masks well. Proper height and width, and the angle of the curve is perfect not to get hung up on my chest protector, yet stays in a protective position. I really don't know it's there. I wear it attached behind the mask, and the only issue I have is that the straps are made of very pliable fabric and I'm not very confident the snaps will hold if I take a shot high up under the chin of the mask.

I've not taken a hit with this throat guard yet, but I like how well it matches my Force3 mask. I use it with the curve 'outward' which avoids it getting stuck on my chest protector, and it is generally quite comfortable/unobtrusive, which was my biggest fear. The straps with snaps are a little suspect, but as I've not taken a hit with them yet, I've had no problem. I'm sure a strip of Velcro would be a good replacement for them if I find a problem with them.

Once being hit in the throat is enough for me. The throat protector has saved me from any pain. A good investment.
