Flex Belt

A bit rigid at first but after a few wears this Flex Belt works great. The Flex Belt used to be the go-to item when we wore the button down light blue shirts. Hey, what can I say, I've been umpiring for 45 years. In past years, umpire pants makers have been putting rubber along the inside of their waist bands which does the same thing in holding your shirt in. Strange thing is, I just bought a pair of Smitty's combos and they have rubber all the way around except for 6 1/2 inches in the very back where, of course, your shirt comes untucked. Disappointed in them but happy with my Flex Belt.

This flex belt not only keeps the shirt tucked in neatly, but also helps keep the pants from sliding down when the pants belt cannot slip below the flex belt.

A big fan of this belt - especially useful for maintaining a clean, professional look during basketball season when many of my games are in shorts without a strong waistband or drawstring.

The flex belt is a must have for any official. It keeps your shirt tucked in and your pants up during action, to maintain the professional look throughout the game. I won't go onto the field/court without it!

The Flex Belt was exactly what I was hoping for. Since dropping a few pounds, keeping pants up and shirts tucked in was a problem. This works great to do both! However, I did have two issues: 1) I originally adjusted it too tight, and getting it on/off was difficult. The stud that adjusts the length separated. 2) The extra 'tail' after adjusting the belt size cleverly overlaps and meshes together. However, you have to 'stretch' the belt to get them to fit back together each time you take it off. Not difficult, but still a nuisance. A few drops of instant glue mended the stud and glued the 'tail' in place. Now, I am VERY pleased with this belt!

Best kept secret for all types of officials. Keeps your shirt tucked in and you looking neat and professional.

The belt worked well the two times I used it. The third time of use (for basketball officiating) it ripped. I am very disappointed at the quality of the product.

I used the shirt stays that attach to your feet and they didn't work for me. I saw others who used this, and it worked. Worked great. No problem and very professional look.

I highly recommend watching the tutorial video above!!! If you don't, you will probably struggle using this belt. Once you figure it out, you won't want to officiate a game without it!!

I don’t know why I struggled with keeping my shirts tucked in for twenty years. I’ve known of this belt for years and purchased one a few weeks ago and now I am looking so pretty from the first through the ninth inning never reaching to tuck in at all! Buy this product today.

Great product to help keep your shirt tucked in. I use it for football, baseball, and basketball. It is a big help to prevent flags from falling out of your belt in football.

Never knew I needed this but after putting the belt in my kit this year I've already noticed that I've not needed to re-tuck my shirt on the field anymore. Should've done it sooner.

Terrible product. Extremely stiff with tiny holes. And for some unknown reason; they increased the diameter of the button making it virtually impossible to use. Don't waste your money.

I bought this shirt stay this year. Worked awesome. Not 1 time did my shirt pull up once tucked and the band put in place. This shirt stay will help any umpire keep a professional tucked in look. Best of all, you don't even know that you are wearing it. Simply put, this is a must have in your equipment bag.

I've had both the white one and now this gray one. Extremely stiff when new. Hope it gets easier to use with use.

Best shirt keep on the market. The only downside is that rubber seems to get brittle quickly and tears. I only got 2 seasons out of mine, though I had no issue purchasing a new one.

Nice improvement on the button. Reinforced and large button on both sides so it doesn't easily pull through. Works great!

Excellent product. This helps keep my home plate shirt tucked with the weight of the ball bag. Works well to keep my football referee shirt and business shirts tucked in.

I actually had my game pants altered twice. The flex Belt fits perfect and my shirt stays in my pants. Follow the video and it will make it easier to put belt on. Very pleased with my purchase.

Botton is a little hard to put in but product works great. Bought a second belt to wear for my other job.

The grey one I got seems a little rigid and the holes to quite seem big enough to be able to easily use it. Other than that...works as it should.

Finally a solution to keep my shirt tucked. Works perfectly, but can be a little uncomfortable when working back to back plates.

Took a couple of try's and watching the video to understand, but the product works great. Lost about 20 lbs over the last year and instead of having everything tailored, I have been using this and it works great!

Does everything as advertised. It is a little difficult at first until you get the hang of how to fasten it, but once you do your shirt stays put. I didn't even notice I had it on. Keeps you looking professional on the field.

I was a little hesitant in ordering. BUT now that I have the Flex Belt I use it daily! GREAT out on the field or behind the plate. Shirt & pants always look neat & professional. I have started using the Flex Belt off the diamond as well! Like many men my age the midsection is getting rounder & I hate having to adjust shirt & pants every few minutes. NOT any more when using the Flex Belt!!

Despite watching all the videos...this product is difficult to put on and fasten. Rubber is entirely to stiff and rigid. Because of that I have tried using this shirt keeper three or four times. Unless I have 5 minutes to spare before a game, it stays in the bag.

Absolutely love the function of this belt and won't umpire without it! It not only keeps my shirt securely tucked in, the nubs also help keep my pants from sliding down. Very comfortable to wear (I really don't even realize I have it on). Not only do I keep an extra one in my bag, I also have one for wearing with a suit. Highly recommend trying one for yourself.

Breaks too easy, I've had 2 and both broke. I'm not fat, 5'9 170

I wear the Smitty Plate pants and the flexfit pants would slide up and down and my shirt would keep coming out. With this belt I am not constantly pulling my pants up. The belt is strong and easy to use and now everything stays in place and shirt stays tucked in. I recommend this belt.

I already have the cream flex belt but opted to invest in the grey. These belts are amazing and very strong. I don't wear them very tight and that seems to help keep things in place as opposed to wrenching down on them and trying to button them. Also the grey is less likely to be seen if it pokes out the top of your waistband when in a squat behind the plate.

This belt does not work! I first used it at a basketball game, and it fell off and made my pants look ridiculous. Thinking that all the running around had made it fall off, I used it at a baseball scrimmage yesterday with the same results.

Not sure how to put together, no directions, the button is hard to loosen, if I'm suppose to do that, it's just plan hard to put on. Not sure how long this product will last... has to be a easier way or another better product.

This will keep your shirt in and pants up. Takes a little getting used to the connection. Very comfortable under my gear for both football and softball.

While I'm sure this product works I had a very difficult time with the button, so much so that it snapped in half rendering my new purchase useless.

I started wearing a flex belt just to do basketball, with all the running, my shirt would pull out, but soon realized not only does it keep your shirt tucked in, it also keeps your pants from sliding down when running. I also discovered if I tuck my flag and beanbag inside the flex belt, they don't fall out while running.

Stay squared away from the plate meeting until the last out of the game. The same belt worn by MLB Umpires under their pants and around their shirt.
