It is very easy to tell which side is up upon landing. I live in Las Vegas so it kinda fits, at tournaments coaches will comment and chuckle from time to time. I agree with other review that the coin is a little too light in weight. I should feel heavier like a dollar coin. I also have the baseball version. Pros, very visible. Cons, too lightweight.

It's a good coin to have in a pinch but I wish it were a little heavier. My referee forgot his coin for a game and I lent him this one and it bounced and rolled almost to the 45 after he tossed it (we were on a turf field) and he had to chase after it. It's very easy to tell which side is which but my only complaint is the weight.

I love the graphics and the details but the coin is to light and when the wind is blowing and raining or snowing the coin gets blown away. Please try to put a little weight in it to keep it from flying around.
