The gloves work great with one comment. The synthetic material gets cold. I inserted palm warmers in the gloves when I used them in a very cold game.

These are good gloves. The synthetic palms and fingers work great for gripping the ball. If you're an umpire they work really well. I'm usually a football Back Judge or Referee and I'm involved with relaying the ball frequently. They are warm and sized properly. I have the large size and they are good fit with some extra room. They are not too tight.

I recently used these gloves in a wet 29 degree weather and they worked great. The gripped palm helped with easy catching of the ball yet since they're not so bulky I was able to easily grab items from my pocket and write notes down. I do wish that the same grip were to be on the tips of the glove but even without them being there, these are probably the best gloves I've used for officiating in cold weather temps. The next test will be as to how they do in single digit temperatures.
