Being one of the youngest umpires in my area,16, and doing high school JV and Varsity games. I love this thing. Way better than my catcher's chest protector. I barely feel it when I get hit. Wilson MLB West Vest Pro Gold 2 Umpire Shin Guards with Memory Foam

After using the Pro Gold 2 for a few games I prefer the Pro Gold 3. These shin guards do not fit as well and also do not fit under my Plate pants as well. The pants get bunched behind the top portion over the knee plate. The Pro Gold 3 fit much better. I do like the Black/White MLB emblem much better than the Red/Blue/White emblem. Sure would be nice to bring back the Pro Gold 3 or a newer version.
