All-Star Matte Black System 7 Steel Umpire Mask with UltraCool

Just started umpiring and after researching a lot of masks I am glad I chose this one. It is lightweight and easy to get on and off. Took my first foul ball straight to the mask last night and the mask barely moved and I didn't feel the impact. There was a tiny indent from the foul ball but I am not too worried about it. Overall, great value.

This mask fits great. Better than the Wilson I was using and is much lighter. Offers a better view.

Great light weight umpire mask. Open plenty of vision, almost as much as some hockey style mask. Extremely tough. Taken more than one foul to the mast and more that does it job. Few of them, if not for mask being moved would not have believed there was impact. Highly recommend.

This mask is very versatile and gives yourself excellent vision. A great purchase if doing a lot of games. The only thing I didn’t like was the harness which I may upgrade in the future.

I really like this umpire mask. It is weightless compared to my old leather padded mask. It is easy to wear for longer period of times like when you have double headers or tournaments. Overall I recommend!

Love my new mask. Coming from an All-Star hockey style I was worried about losing some of my field of vision, but this has a great field of view. The lightness is a huge plus! Love this new mask.

Great mask and exceptional value. The LUC pads are everything All-Star says they are and more. They do not absorb moisture at all. Very lightweight and provide excellent vision.

Excellent umpire mask. I've used it for multi-day weekend USSSA tourneys (12+ games) as well as varsity level high school games. Lightweight, excellent visibility, pads are very comfortable. I've taken several foul shots off of it with no ill effects to me or the mask. 100% confident I will be relying on this several years to come.

I bought this umpire mask for my son to replace his much heavier mask. The first noticeable thing was how light it is. He has already taken a foul ball off of it and no harm to him or the mask. He said it is very comfortable and is extremely pleased with the purchase. I would recommend this mask for somebody ready to upgrade.

To be honest I purchased this umpire mask because the magnesium mask price range was out my league. Then I was at an umpires clinic in Westchester, NY. I saw an All-Star bag next to a table there she was, a silver magnesium mask. The gentleman said "I don't like it, use to my bucket" he said. Then he said "give me a hundred dollars and it's yours". So now I have both masks, but this black mask vision lines takes the cake, in my opinion.

This umpire mask is outstanding. It's light but made of steel so I am confident it will hold up. The pads and harness are comfortable to be worn all day. Great field of view to see all of the action on the field. Pads provide excellent protection. All-Star has a hit with this umpire mask. It can handle any level of baseball.

I have two of these FM4000 hollow-steels (sadly bought before they were carried by Ump-Attire.com). Great to see them here - especially in black (I had to pay a powder coater - getting them for this price is a steal.) Great vision, great pads, and light! And I saw at least one MLB ump wearing the FM4000 last year, and at least one Tiger catcher as well.
