My Diamond pads were worn out, soaked in sweat, and drying up hard. I had to get new pads and I've heard a lot about TW pads. I bought and gave these a try. As of right now they are awesome. They feel stiff but from what I have heard, that's normal and I love how there is more protection than the original Diamond pads.

Decided to try the Team Wendy pads on my Wilson Titanium and changed out the wrap around Wilsons. Haven't been hit in mask by fouls almost all season, did fall ball game yesterday and took one dead center and was happily surprised. The pads seemed a little stiff and wasn't sure how good they would be, but I am a believer, mask okay and most of all I am okay. They really do work very well, worth the cost.

Best $40 I've spent on equipment. Took a shot clocked at 85+...felt it, but no after affect. Highly recommended!

Team Wendy pads get 5 stars from me. I have two Wilson Dyna-lite frames, and purchased the black Team Wendy pads this summer. I will never use another brand of pads. I umpire various levels of play including an two adult leagues with pitchers who have been in the minor leagues still chucking it up there at 90 mph and the foul balls have rung my bell in the past, but with the Team Wendy pads I didn't feel the pain like I have in the past. The black pads are a little hot in the sun in the summer months, so I bought the tan for the other frame to use for day games. The other plus, is that they are machine washable, and will maintain their shape after washing.

After dealing with severe lockjaw, and after being hit with stock Honig's, Wilson and Rawlings pads, I switched to Team Wendy pads two summers ago. I now have the tan TW pads with the new Wilson Aluminum Dynalite and the black TW with the charcoal grey Dynalite. Yes, they do look great... AND they protect as advertised. Eaten many 80mph+ shots, no pain, no lockjaw. I will never work another dish without TW pads. Highly recommended.
