All-Star Black Magnesium Umpire Mask with Black LUC

Super light and well padded similar to the All-Star 4000 helmet I wear on most occasions. Unfortunately I found that the design of the pads specifically the thickness and distance it creates between the pads and the outside of the mask is significantly different from a traditional mask or helmet. I found it visually confining almost tunnel vision like. I bet if I gave it a chance during a game I could have gotten use to it but there are too many other great options for the price to go with so I returned it for the Wilson Titanium for the hot days and my All-Star 4000 helmet when bats are really flying.

New Balance V3 MLB Black & White Low-Cut Umpire Plate Shoes

These umpire plate shoes are ultra-comfortable. They fit great and provide excellent protection. I've taken a few shots off of them and haven't felt it. After a season's use, the only issue I have is that they are already wearing some where my shins sit.
