I fully recommend these pants for summer baseball. They breathe so much better than the regular poly-wool umpire pants do. For spring ball, I still wear the regular pants (poly-wool), but when the weather heats up I start to reach for these. They breathe well, dry well (rain or sweat) and you just feel cooler in these with every breeze. These pants tend to wear well, hold their color and look great - what's not to like? Buy a pair and get out there!

Champro Pro-Plus Umpire Chest Protector

Have had this protector four seasons and it's still in great condition. Absorbs impact well and is not uncomfortable on hot days. Several of my fellow umpires tried mine and then ordered one for themselves. It's very easy to clean up and doesn't odor up like some protectors.
