Love this mask. Even though I used a hockey mask when I actually played hockey, I couldn't get used to a HSM as an umpire. This mask is lightweight and durable. The pads ripped after a few uses and were replaced with Team Wendy Pads. I recently took a foul ball to my right cheek area and the mask went flying. I felt it, but I wasn't hurt from the hit. This was with a 25 year old throwing hard. I love the extension at the top. It not only protects against shots up there if your head is slightly tilted down, but acts as a nice handle when the mask is off. Highly recommend the mask. I only knocked the stars down because the padding didn't last.
