Got to use the pants this weekend. 1.) the material is a little softer than the Smitty. 2.) The color is a little darker, probably the NCAA charcoal and the field dust "seems" to show up much more. 3.) The grippers on the inside are sticker than the Smitty, but not as sticky as the Davis. 4.) My only complaint is that the belt loops setting the position of the ball bags are set a little further back than I am used to. They are further back on both the Smitty and Davis. In Conclusion, I will probably be getting a set of base pants, but will hold off on getting another set of plate pants. I want to compare the durability of these vs. the Smitty.
