Umpire Mask Face Shield
Crew How-To: Attach Your Umpire Mask Face Shield
Ty shows you how this clear, plastic face shield easily attaches to the lower half of most traditional baseball and softball umpire masks.
This thing appears to be a hard plastic but it’s flimsy clear film that could easily be made and sold for a lot less than $12.99! It fogs up too easy and is hard to see once it fogs.
Worked well through my first collegiate game of the season. To those that have grievances of it fogging too easily, Oakley (and other brands) makes an anti-fog spray that I applied to the cover and it worked well. Fit my Nike umpire mask well with Belgard pads, and is a good alternative option for wearing a cloth face mask under your umpire mask on the plate.
Great idea but fogs too easily and impairs field of vision.
