There is a slight but noticeable compression at the top of the sock. I noticed it when I put them on, but didn't notice it again until after my plate. Some will like this, some might not. The rest of the sock is very well-made, comfortable, and breathable.

Love these socks, only problem is the top is a little tight but other than that they fit perfectly, another great product from a great company.

Have two pairs of these socks now. Liked the first one so much I decided to get another. Wear them with New Balance plate and base shoes and they work great with both. Great price, nice sock, happy customer.

Questions About This Product

Q: Are these the same as compression socks kinda like the Shock Doctors??
– Chad Stephens

These New Balance socks are designed for performance on the field and to keep your feet dry when working. The Shock Doctor SVR Compression and Recovery Socks have more compression and are better for recovery.
