Description

Are your feet burning hot on turf fields working summer games? Take the heat off your feet with HeatShield inserts, proven to reduce radiant temperatures inside shoes up to 50°F. HeatShields shoe inserts are the solution for umpires and outdoor sports officials.

We discovered HeatShields when umpires working multiple games at the LakePoint Sports complex outside Atlanta in 90+ temps swore by them behind the plate and in the field.

This patent-pending product aerospace technology was the joint design of the Greggs, a Tennessee family made up of a physical therapist, a retired F-16 fighter pilot and their athlete daughter/D1 soccer player who wrote her thesis on the subject.

Say "Goodbye!" to hot, tender feet and experience greater comfort and performance this weekend. Buy a pair for each of your officiating shoes today!

Features

  • Moisture-wicking
  • A comfortable, lightweight, sleek barrier that doesn't compromise shoe space.
  • Molds to your feet in as early as one day of use
  • HeatShields have been extensively field tested.
  • 1/8 inch thick
  • SIZES: Available in a wide range of men's sizes (if in-between sizes, go up a size)
  • COLOR: Orange (but we may substitute with blue due to high demand - both colors function the same)

Madrid, Spain is famous for being really hot in the Spring and Summer, when most of the games are played. I purchased these soles to isolate my feet from the scorching heat coming out from the field. I have noticed a bit of improvement, but after 1 or 2 hours in the field, my feet are on fire again. These soles might protect you a bit because they act as an extra layer of protection but they are not really isolators. They are not worth the money. I rather purchase extra comfort soles with gel for example to be more comfortable even if my feet are scorching hot.

Questions About This Product

Q: Is it possible to wear these with the Smitty insoles? If so, how much height do they both add? And in the Smitty insoles and the HeatShields, how many come in a pack?
– Jayden Morrison
A:
Yes, the HeatShields should be the bottom most layer in your shoe, then place the Smitty Comfortech Cushion Technology Shoe Insoles on top. The HeatShields are 1/8 of an inch thick while the Smitty Insoles are 1/4 inch thick, making for a total of 3/8 inch. Both packs include a pair of inserts, one for your left and right foot.
