Champion Referee and Sport Watch

For the price, I found this watch/timer an excellent purchase and does what it is intended to do. I use it as my everyday watch as well as for timing timeouts for volleyball and timing in-between innings for softball and works great! The band doesn’t last more than a season or two, but like I said, for the price.

This watch is garbage. Mine lasted for 2 months this season with a brand new battery. Replaced the battery and 2 days later it was dead again. Replaced battery a second time and 2 days later it was dead. It has now been replaced by a Casio from Amazon and has found its final resting place at the local Dump where it belongs!

It lasted almost 2 years and worked fine but, died quietly. I tried to change the battery but that was not the problem. Also, the band was too small I would not recommend it.

DO NOT BUY - If you want to buy this watch to use as a timer, don't. I was using the stopwatch function as a play clock, and it would go back to the clock mode if the timer was stopped for more than 5-10 seconds.

Not the best. If you wear it in a humid area, the screen fogs up.

Great watch for a great price. Has all of the functions needed and performs well. The only drawback is the silver face. Would be 5/5 if there was an all-black option!

A great inexpensive watch perfect for the field. It's like a Timex, it takes a licking and keeps on ticking.

Works well for the price paid. Be careful using the countdown timer. The mode button can get hit easily and it goes to regular watch mode without you knowing it. Overall a decent referee watch and pretty durable and easy to use.

Avoid this for football. When countdown timer is stopped it quickly switches back to time display making "no-look" stop/start of the clock impossible.

Works great for football time keeping. An inexpensive way for me as a Back Judge to keep the play clock and other times. Can set the countdown timer to desired time amount and will alert you at zero, and even keep counting if you want to use for longer periods without resetting timer.

The watch works OK. The annoying part is switching between modes. When I need to use it as a stopwatch at games as soon as I pause it it switches modes on its own. This makes it very hard to keep time for a football game.

Just what I wanted - an inexpensive watch that has easy to use functions, and numbers big enough to see! Only minor complaints are that the light function is not that good, and the black plastic band gets warm quickly in the sun.
