Very lightweight and comfortable fit. I love all my Cobalt products - Mask (Mag), Helmet, Chest Protector and now Shin Guards.

Low profile, super light weight, and works great!

They fit really well. Especially when used with the straps from UMPLIFE. But the protection could be better. You can feel easy hits.

Questions About This Product

Q: I was all set to order a pair of the new All-Star Cobalt leg guards but two of the three initial reviews raise concern about their protective ability. I have small (thin/skinny) lower legs and your product review indicated these would be a good application for this body type. I also planned on using them for both baseball and softball high school level play. Your thoughts? Thank you for your time.
– Warren Befort
A:

The main reason we suggest this for small legs is that the plastic shell can be widened or curled inward for a tight wrap around feel. There are other more protective styles available. To compare where these rank, read our full Shin Guard Buying Guide.
