Introducing Force3 Pro Gear’s umpire tights. Designed for working the plate, these tights have a built in pocket in the thigh area for exclusive Unequal Technologies Kevlar discs - that can be removed for tights' use on the bases as well as a cup pocket.

Made from a polyester and elastane combination, the tights are extremely soft to the touch for added comfort. The polyester blend wicks sweat and dries fast, keeping you cool in the summer, and warm in the winter. Constructed with strong and comfortable flat lock stitching, ergonomic seam placement, and an anchored floating cup pocket. These tights not only keep the chafing and irritation down from shin guard straps, but will help keep you protected from those terrible shots to the thighs.

  • Poly/elastane fabric for comfort
  • Integrated jock/cup pocket
  • Unequal Kevlar discs are easy to insert and remove
  • Grey color

Another good product by Force3. Just be gentle with pulling the under garment on and off because it is a bit thin and if not careful, it may tear some. Overall though great concept to further your safety needs.

These umpire tights are the best on the market right now. They could be improved with more padding like the McDavid old brand; but for what is out there these are great and I highly recommend them.

I must have a weird body make-up, reading all these other reviews. I'm 5'10" and weigh about 210, so XL is usually my size - sometimes 2XL. The XL I got first was way too tight and ended up ripping the seam at the top trying to pull them up as the legs were even tighter. Just got my 3X, and they seem to fit fine. Cut out the jockstrap on both pairs - way too low for me. But as far as performance, even the pair that was too tight, worked well and did as advertised. If you've ever been hit there, I think you'll put-up with a little discomfort in exchange for the protection.

Questions About This Product

Q: When I do lower level baseball games, I have to get down really low for the shorter players when I am behind the plate. So this means I need to stretch my legs out, making my inside thighs vulnerable. This past season I got hit twice there, and it leaves black & blue marks and presumably a blood clot that could be dangerous. So I am interested in having under-gear that will allow pads on the inside of the thighs (not the outside). Do you have a product like this available?

This is the product you are looking for Rob! The Force3 Umpire Tights feature removable Kevlar plates located on the inner thigh making these the most advanced umpire protective tights on the market today.
