Best choice I have made for a jacket since the early season starts in February. Keeps the wind off you and keeps you warm. Fits nicely with plate gear and for working in the field.

Very comfortable and warm. Works well for those cooler nights on the bases. It’s a little bulky for plate (in my opinion). Others might find it works fine for that position.

Just used this jacket in a half inning of 45 degree rainy/sleety mix. Kept me warm and dry. Water beads up and rolls right off. Great jacket for that late winter, early spring baseball.

This is a state-of-the-art cold-weather jacket and with a surprisingly reasonable price. I have one in a Large size that is perfect for the bases. I got the XL for the plate, and it was a bit larger than I expected and needed. I had upgraded from a very old Honigs XL that fit perfectly for the plate but had badly faded (which was pointed out by a partner, and I realized it didn’t look very sharp anymore). I’m 220 lbs and 5’11”. I’ll definitely wear it, and will get used to the fit. With Ump-Attire’s great Return Policy, I’d recommend getting two sizes if you’re unsure and try them both on to see what works best. Ump-Attire’s customer service has been exceptional.

Wore this with an Under Armour thermal-lined base layer, a cotton long sleeve shirt, and it held up well with 35 degree, 40 mph days. I find that it's more comfortable for the plate to put my umpire shirt on over, so it holds my chest protector in place better, but YMMV.

Very warm umpire jacket. My only complaint is that it is tough to get the collar to lay down. Overall, a great jacket.

Haven't got a chance to test this umpire jacket on the field yet, as we are playing indoors now, but hopefully, soon I can do that! It looks awesome and feels great! Maybe a little too tight for the plate work, so you may want to size up to wear above your chest protector.

The best umpire jacket I've ever purchased. As a tall (6'3") ump getting one that will both cover my backside and neck has been difficult quest. This one works! While everyone else is freezing in the Oklahoma winds, I'm quite content!

I was very excited to order this. Spring games in the Midwest can be tough and I wanted a new style warm jacket for bases and plate. I really like the style and functionality. Pockets are small but there really shouldn't be anything in them. I always wear medium and ordered medium. Sleeves are on the short side. I'm guessing a size up would be too large. It's not terrible so I will deal with it.

This umpire jacket fits great. 5'10", 225 lbs and bought an XL. I wore it initially over my plate gear and was able to move just as freely as I would without it. The next time I used it was in the field, not too baggy and very comfortable. With a cool HS Spring Baseball month, the jacket was very nice to have.

Very nice umpire jacket fits well and can use either on bases or with plate gear on. The only complaint I have is that the pockets are a little small for those cold nights and need to keep my hands warm.

As the springs aren't usually too cold here in Virginia I was holding out for this jacket. But I am sure glad I bought it. Sized well and good length. The fleece lining is perfect for those extra cold days. Pair it up with the Under Armour ColdGear Compression Long Sleeve Mock shirt and you will be nice and toasty even on the coldest of days. Lightweight and keeps you dry in the rain.

We ordered an umpire jacket for my husband for those cooler nights. Unfortunately, we got it and it was too small (our fault) so we returned it and ordered one size larger. The entire process was extremely easy, quick, and efficient! A must have piece of apparel for early season spring games or late season fall ball. Windproof and heavily insulated. The sizing runs big like a lot of umpire apparel. I'm 6'1" and 180 lbs and the size large fits me perfectly. I could easily wear it over a chest protector if I wanted to. As always the service from Ump-Attire.com was spectacular. Five stars.

Got this at the end of the fall season and haven't had a chance to wear it yet. It seems warm and the fit is good. Can't wait to try it in the early spring.

Seems to be a quality item and keeps you warm on cold days. Sizing seems to be a bit weird. Wear a Medium. Got a medium. Would not wear a zip up behind the plate. Sleeve and body length is fine. I assume it is cut fuller around the middle for use behind the plate by those with over stuffed chest protectors or over stuffed mid-sections. Neither my chest protector or my belly need the extra room. Don't think a small would work with the arm length. I figure it will be pretty cold when wearing, so fashion can suffer a bit!

I've had this umpire coat now for the 2nd year and even with cold gear and sweatshirts underneath, I can still put on and wear my Platinum chest protector and low and behold, I'm still warm. The wind, rain and sand from the sandstorm just slide right off. The pockets are NOT lined in plastic, but warm microfiber material which REALLY helps. I love it and have no regrets. Other than the top of the zipper scratches my neck, but I'm WARM. :)

Searched a while for the right umpire jacket and thought long about sizing. This jacket is perfect. Did my first game 45 degrees, in the shade. Wore this with a long sleeve compression shirt in between this and my chest protector. Looks good, plenty of movement. Great chest pocket. I was worried about sizing. Deciding between M and L - went with L and it is fine. I am 5'11" 180lbs. Medium would have worked but likely less movement.

Great product. It's flexible and moves with your body. Lightweight but warm. Soft interior. With the humidity down here on the gulf coast, our wet 40 degree weather feels like 30 degrees in most other areas. It's not that cold when it comes to the temperature. The humidity makes it feel like it's that deep down in the bone cold. This jacket does the trick. I have the half zip pullover also. This full-zip jacket I use on the colder nights on the bases. Seems like there is plenty of room for your gear underneath if you wanted to wear it behind the plate. It might get too warm for you back there.

Now, this is a jacket. Very beautiful. It gets the job done keeping me warm and cozy on those cold days. Came right on time to wear to the baseball umpire's camp/field clinic.
