"The shirt is awesome! It's such a light material and feels really nice to wear in hot weather. When you guys shipped it to me, that weekend I was umpiring a tournament here and the temperature reached 100, plus they are turf fields so its a little hotter. I barely broke a sweat and the shirt was dry as can be. Its a stretchy material so it's easy to fit over the gear. I let one of my friends wear it and he was very impressed and he didn't even break a sweat in it either. I have recommended it to the umpires out here since its always pretty hot."

"This is a great shirt! It's comfortable and it presents a very professional appearance. The fabric is a close-knit weave and it still allows a great deal of 'breath ability', so the wearer stays cool. Although I have only had one or two opportunities to wear this jersey, I think that this is a big step up from the heavier fabrics that have been used in the past. I am hoping that Ump-Attire will offer this jersey style in a long sleeve black version, as our high school association plans to authorize black jerseys for use in the 2010 season. "The new Ultimate Umpire shirt is all that it is made out to be. I have been wearing mainly Honig's shirts for the last 10 years or so (started out wearing +POS, then moved to Gerry Davis and then since there is a local Honigs office to me, it�s been all Honigs). This will change next season when I restock my shirts with the Ultimate Umpire shirt in all the colors that we use here in Los Angeles. I took the shirt for its first spin last night during a Pony game. The temperature has dropped a little since this weekend but not by much. It was still in the upper 80s, lower 90s at the 6pm game time. I didn't even know I had the shirt on if it wasn't for the fact that I had some problems keeping the collar down. Hopefully a run through the wash will take care of that. The color is slightly darker than the Honig's shirts are but I don't see a problem with that. Also since I have changed to my West Vest Gold chest protector I have had a problem with the Honig's shirts pulling up the Velcro strips on the shoulders. I didn't even realize that the strips got pulled up when I put on the shirt. But when I did, I pulled a little, smoothed them out, and didn't have a problem with it again for the next six innings. The weight of the shirt was also a pleasant surprise when I first received the shirt in the mail it felt heavier than the Honig's. However, the material it is made out of once I put it on over my chest protector didn't have a problem with it. ...you have a great product in these new umpire shirts. Keep it up and you have my word I will be promoting and wearing Ump-Attire stuff for a very long time here in southern California.".
