"That cup saved my life big time in my game. I swear I thought I saw my life of future kids flash before my eyes, when the batter fouled a tailing-in fastball into the dirt and then square center into my cup. Of course I jumped a little on impact because I didn’t know what to expect and besides things shifting around on impact.
